@sfrangos – thanks for your input! We do use W3 Total Cache for that particular project. I understand the body class isn’t a Plugin issue itself. But what we had as output compared to yours is that instead of just having “mac firefox ff11” show up the body class would have the name of the last used browser in the tag.

I also noticed that this was somewhat “random” and I couldn’t really get to the bottom of the problem myself…also because this is a pro bono project and I donate time to them whenever they need it the most. So I have been off and on for the past few weeks.

I will have to dig back in there sometime soon to look at this again. Because it was mainly for some IE fixes where I wanted to take the easy route, I was able to do some other things to work around it.

Once I get time to look at this, I will post back. Thanks!

@angelcosta – cool! On another site where I have the same problem but didn’t do the testing I actually have this installed and just a few days ago installed it on my own site. There should be a fix for this now that I know it’s the WordPress SEO Plugin. I’ll post it here if I find a way as this is a pretty useful option of Yoast’s Plugin.

As I have no idea when exactly this started to be an issue here’s what I’ve done so far to try and find a possible source of this.

1. tested Plugin (in)compatibility – doesn’t seem to be a problem with the few ones I run.
2. resting permalinks as this did help with another Plugin I had issues – didn’t help and since I’m not using the custom download link I didn’t think so it would but trying never hurts.
3. downgraded to a previous version of the Plugin – could be a DB issue as the structure change with the last major update (and I didn’t want to go that far back in time)…didn’t do the trick neither.

An unofficial point, I talked to my host and they don’t have particular experience with this Plugin (understandably) but they told me that they were 90% positive it’s not a hosting issue.

Anyone with another suggestion, I’m willing to try it on my site. Maybe a nice email to the Plugin author could be another great idea…that makes wonders some times ??

The latest update is taking care of the problem and it should all work again.

You actually need to create a page in your WP installation called downloads and add there the shortcode [download_page]

I currently do have a problem with the download page as viewing categories is not working for me.

I figured that having the FD Feedburner Plugin on some of the sites with this problem might be the reason why the category feeds didn’t work as this Plugin forwards all feeds to the main feedburner feed.

So I deactivated the Plugin on a site that is undergoing some changes but the feeds still won’t work. So there has to be something else causing that problem.

I do notice this an several blogs as well. Did anyone find out why this is?

It’s broken for me too…well at least on anything but IE which I almost can’t believe. But I did test it on Mac and Windows. Firefox, Chrome or any other browser are not working.

I also try the jQuery no conflict “fix” but didn’t make it work again neither. Hope there’s a patch soon.

@spinhead – although this was a great Plugin I removed it from all my sites. Pretty sure you can find another video Plugin that will fit your needs.

We do have the same issue on one of our site and do not have the Download Monitor Plugin installed there. I haven’t been on this site my own for a while but got told that it stopped working after the last update.

Latest version of both the Plugin and WP work for one of my sites. It breaks to no available updates though if you change the backlog from a full month to a full week. Maybe this is part of the problem?

So does one of my sites. Uncheck the integrate flash for flash devices option and it should work with the new Cycle.
