In reply to: [Plugin: Link Library] Category links won’t work@jackdewey – sorry I’ve been awfully busy and traveling the last couple days. I will try to get those DB tables your way in the next few days.

In reply to: [Plugin: Link Library] Category links won’t work@xenopain – now that you mention the pagination problem I also have encounter this issue with the 2.8.2 version. And sorry of course in my update before I meant to say that I updated to the 2.8.2 version.

In reply to: [Plugin: Link Library] Category links won’t work@jackdewey – thanks for all the hard work you put into this Plugin. I think it’s one that gets taken care off the most. I really like the functionality of Link Library and look forward to fully empower it on my site. I will let you know if it fixed the problem for me as soon as the new version is out.
Update:
So I just updated my Plugin to version 2.8.1 and it’s working again. There’s one “bug” though I can’t really understand. If I want it to show only one category at a time and put in the ID of my category called Links (ID 6), it’s not working. But if I change this value to 7, it’s working and the correct category (Links) is showing up as default.
You can go and check out my links at https://www.aquadonis.ch/links or let me know how I could help to find why this is (or anything else).

In reply to: Playlists in ProPlayer@isa.goksu – thank you for this great Plugin. I use it on more than just my site. But I ran into a problem on my own site. I was trying to set up a playlist just as you describe it. It works but there are two points (“problems”) I would like to ask you about.
1. Although the playlist does show up at the bottom of the player and I can select any of the videos on there (and they will play) I can’t see the name or “description” of what I’m about to see.
2. Is it possible to have a different preview image for each of the videos in the playlist? And how many videos can I add to one single playlist. Is there sort of pagination or scroll down mechanism once the list gets to long?
Thanks for your help.
@jolley_small – any idea on this issue with the custom permalink? Your help would be appreciated.

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] htaccess gives 500 errorThis issue is really a pain in the butt. I did some changes to my blog settings and then I got the 500 Error again. But this time I didn’t get it back to work that I can have a custom permalink.
Anybody could explain in more details what exactly the steps are to go through when doing this? Thank you all!

In reply to: [Plugin: Contact Form 7] wpcf7_add_tag_generator undeclared@estr – glad it worked for you as well. Why don’t you think about having your picture gallery in WP. The NextGen Gallery Plugin does an excellent job for all photo related WP tasks.
Check it out in action on this site:
https://www.theraceclub.net/photos/@mister Beba – do you ask for the same problem you had in the first place or just adding a new download?
If it’s the same problem as in the first place, I don’t think it matters whether the file is on your sever or not. This is achieved with a custom field value which should apply to all file links.
If your asking for adding a file to your downloads that isn’t on your server just select add an existing file and point it to the address where it’s hosted.

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] htaccess gives 500 errorI do have an issue with the custom download link as well. And somehow none of your solutions seem to work for me.
What I was able to reproduce was @banesto’s solution and it showed the custom download link but forwarded to a 404.
I do have my WP install in a subfolder. Could this be part of the problem? Any help would be highly appreciated.
Update: sorry my bad! Of course the subfolder changes things. @banesto’s solution works perfectly … just don’t forget to add the name of the subfolder in the path on the redirect.
@jolley_small – thanks for pointing that out. Worked perfectly with a .mov file for me as well. This should be in the documentation.

There might be a patch for your problems with Twitter Tools. For my part it is working fine on all of my sites.

But the custom download (perma)link problem remains the same. But I guess I should do a search here in the forums first and only then open a new thread.
