In reply to: [Archiiv] How to show a popup in websiteOur plugin allows you to place a shortcode that renders a form that connects to Beehiiv anywhere on your site. It doesn’t have a built-in popup feature, but using some code or separate plugin that can create popups, you should be able to embed our shortcode and have it work seamlessly with the rest of your site’s workflow.
Thanks for your question!

In reply to: [Archiiv] Honeypot? We don’t have a built-in system for this on our end, but Beehiiv is supposedly able to detect spam submissions and help filter them out. How well they do that is to be determined, but we plan to create some form spam protections in the future. Thanks for the question!

In reply to: [Archiiv] Plugin doesn’t work anymore? It’s also possible that you are using a V1 publication_id, while the plugin has been updated to support Beehiiv’s V2 API. You can find that in Beehiiv’s settings and change it to the updated V2 API publication_id to see if that helps resolve the issue.

In reply to: [Archiiv] Plugin doesn’t work anymore? The plugin still works and is active. The only time that we have seen errors is when the publication ID and API key are incorrect. We recommend taking a look at those first to make sure everything is accurate on the backend of your site so that the subscribers list syncs up with your Beehiiv account. If it doesn’t work, let us know and we can do a deeper dive for you.

In reply to: [Archiiv] Issue with Default Send Welcome EmailThanks for your question. There isn’t anything that can be done in the plugin to send subscribers welcome emails, but this setting can be enabled in the Beehiiv admin page. Once a new subscriber is added from any channel, this plugin or otherwise, they can be sent a welcome email from those admin settings.
This is directly from Beehiiv’s documentation to set up that welcome email:
https://support.beehiiv.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413242507799-How-do-I-create-a-welcome-email-
- Visit Settings and Publication
- Scroll down to Welcome New Readers
- Add a subject line and email text to activate
- Click Save in the bottom right
Let us know if this was helpful!
