In reply to: [Delightful Downloads] Das Plugin hat keinen validen HeaderBut that solution means that each plugin update that includes that folder will “reinstall” the problem.
Thanks for this. I will post a +1 there on the issue.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Conflict W3 Total Cache & Gravity Forms > SolutionI found this site for reviewing what is and isn’t being minimized. May be helpful to you too, since it handily lists all of the js files to be minified and what may be causing problems: https://seositecheckup.com/tool/minified
I learned from it, for example, that the WordPress multilingual plugin WPML has a bug that is not working with W3TC. Grrr.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Conflict W3 Total Cache & Gravity Forms > SolutionHey Matt,
Yeah, it’s a real hair puller. My answer was a trial by fire solution. I’m pretty clueless about the details. The things I wanted — a significantly faster site with W3TC, forms that worked, and theme features that worked — were achieved by this solution … but HOW is beyond my little brain’s comprehension. Minify is enabled, is manual, and I have exceptions for just GF and a couple of js files that affect Google Map display in my theme. Because the exceptions work, I assumed that the minimizing is working. That may be a pretty big leap, in hindsight.
Here’s my settings specifically, again with the main “manual” set first:
Rewrite: checked
Disabled: checkedHTML minify settings: Enabled
Inline CSS minification: checked
Inline JS minification: checked
Line break removal: checkedjs minify: Enabled
CSS minify settings: Enable: checked
Preserved comment removal (not applied when combine only is active): checked
Line break removal (not applied when combine only is active): checkedADVANCED:
Update external files every: 216000 seconds
Garbage collection interval: 216000 seconds
Never minify the following pages: <complete URL for GF folder inserted here>
Never minify the following JS files: <complete URL for two js files inserted here>
I hope this helps but, if not, post your own settings here so that some passing person with greater W3TC knowledge might be able to find the solution!
How did you resolve this challenge?

In reply to: [Instant Butler] A great idea well done but the free version is not so richThe /buy link does not show the differences between the repository version and the premium version. When not “all posts” than what posts: Up to a certain number? Within a certain date range? All posts starting with the letter z? It’s not clear. Nor do the screenshots clarify if they are of this version or the licensed version.
I don’t dispute the value of premium plugins. Nevertheless, I believe most users here are used to a certain amount of disclosure *before* the trial-version. I will uninstall until further clarification.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] CommentsStewart, I am interested in this plugin as well. Could you please clarify your comment “pulling comments randomly from blog posts in the database”? Do you mean that comments on other posts are becoming comments on the job posts?

In reply to: [Pixabay Images] Images aren't wider than 640pxThank you so much for the explanation. After this experience, I went looking at the Flickr plugin that does the same and found the same issue. I am not sure why “select size” is not left to the user in both plugins.
Three stars means, for me, “good but.” It’s GOOD for showing me what is available via Pixabay (which I had never heard of until this so well done!), BUT undermines its own function (because I have to then open a new window, cut and paste the URL, and then right-click to save the size that I originally wanted).
Or am I missing something? If there is another trick to this that I am missing, please do let me know.
Otherwise, I will look forward to the next version.
Thanks again for even making this possible.
According to the description, there’s a frontend option in the plugin’s premium version. https://wedevs.com/plugin/wp-project-manager-frontend/

In reply to: [Frontend Uploader] License AgreementThanks, Rinat. This plugin solves so much for me. Where should we place the jQuery code?

In reply to: [Callback Request] Translation ready?Fantastic, Jo. I will send back the German version when I am finished. (I’m not a native speaker, but I have native speakers on hand!) Thanks so much for your work! – Tammi
Edit: Ah, I just downloaded it and see that the German version is there. Great!

In reply to: [Image Archives] Can't show ALL on one pageEating crow while it’s young and tender: the plugin and shortcode works as is. It was completely MY oversight. Here’s the problem for the others who are experiencing the same thing:
The plugin works only, only, only if the WordPress Media Library shows that the image is attached to the post. That means that even if the post itself shows that there is a featured image, if the if the Media Library shows the image as “unattached” IT WILL NOT DISPLAY.
My apologies to the developer for the nuisance. Please mark this as resolved.

In reply to: [Backup, Restore and Migrate your sites with XCloner] v3.0.8 – no backupsGood to know. When you try the restoration, a follow up post would be most appreciated. I’m going to give this a try and report back myself.
