Hi Cais,
Thank you for your help – the Themify team has fixed the issue on my site, and will be including the fix on their next framework update.
Thanks again!
SamerHello Cais,
I’ve received this comment from the Themify team – can you please check if you can help with their question?
“We’ll forward this to the development team to check. Can you please also contact the plugin’s developers and seek their advise? Any information regarding the datamapper class (that’s where the error is occurring) that would help in debugging could be useful.”
Thank you!
SamerHi again,
I have alerted the Themify support staff, and they are currently looking into the issue. Hopefully, they can figure out what’s happening!
Thank you!
SamerHello Cais,
I have switched to the default WordPress theme, and tested the search again and it worked. I assume this means that it is a problem with the Themify theme and not with the plugin?
Thank you,
SamerHello Cais,
The only thing that changed was an update to WordPress and an update to my theme. One of these updates must be creating the error.
Any idea how to resolve that line 94 in the code, or do you know what it is referring to?
Thank you!

In reply to: [amCharts: Charts and Maps] Pixel Map GeneratorHi! Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me… still not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I did as you mentioned and replaced all instances of “map” with “%CHART%”
When I click preview, it’s just a black screen, and there’s a small error on the bottom left of the screen.
Thanks,

In reply to: [amCharts: Charts and Maps] Map Panning on Mobile DisplayHello, this may be a related issue, so I thought I’d add this to my reply above….
I just noticed that on my homepage https://www.wanderluster.net, in Internet Explorer and in Firefox, I am not able to scroll past my “Where I’ve Been” (Maps) section on desktop.
It works fine in Chrome, but in IE and Firefox, for some reason the scrolling gets stuck when trying to scroll down over the map section.
Any ideas what’s going on and how to fix?
Thanks!

In reply to: [amCharts: Charts and Maps] Map Panning on Mobile DisplayHi,
Yes – good point, I guess it’ll need to stay disabled on touch devices.
But, the code you gave me – I tried inserting it, but it’s not having an effect. Could you guide me as to where exactly I should insert it? Maybe I’m pasting it in the wrong place….
Thanks!!

In reply to: [amCharts: Charts and Maps] Map Panning on Mobile DisplayHi! Thanks for your reply —
Yes, I could disable panning altogether, but only on the mobile device. How can I do that?
I’d like to keep the panning option on desktop, because it currently works just fine.
I would like to have the panning on mobile too eventually — I hope there will be a fix for this in the future?
Thanks!

In reply to: [amCharts: Charts and Maps] Map Panning on Mobile DisplayHi,
Thank you for this – it worked, but only 50%…. meaning I can now scroll through the map to the next section, but at the same time the map still moves as if it’s being panned while I’m scrolling.
It’s a bit strange, you’d have to try it to see…

– scroll down on a mobile device until you see the map, and then you’ll see what I mean.Hope you can help me find a fix for this!
Thanks!!

In reply to: [Nomad World Map] Zoom Level IssueHi again Tjimen!
I checked the page after editing the code at Line 89 and it broke all the maps —
So i tried to insert the code up and down a few lines, in case the line number was wrong, and sure enough, it worked when I inserted it in Line 87!
Let me know if it’s working for you the way you had intended now.
Thanks!!

In reply to: [Nomad World Map] Zoom Level IssueHi Tjimen,
I can’t seem to find the /js/wpsl-gmap.js file. I do have the following files under /js —
– /js/nwm-gmap3.js
– /js/gmap3.js
– /js/gmap3.min.jsAny idea why I wouldn’t find it in the Plugin Editor?
Also, here are the pages you can test which have a zoom level specified in the shortcode other than the default level (my default zoom level is set to “4”):
https://www.wanderluster.net/gallery/ukraine-the-black-sea/
Zoom level = 5https://www.wanderluster.net/gallery/moors-maghreb/
Zoom level = 3https://www.wanderluster.net/gallery/himalayan-happiness/
Zoom level = 2https://www.wanderluster.net/gallery/the-roman-empire/
Zoom level = 1Thank you!

In reply to: [Nomad World Map] Zoom Level IssueThanks for the reply! And thank you for taking another look and doing more testing, I appreciate it! My site has a LOT of maps, and some just don’t work right without the specific zoom level shortcode.
Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing back from you next week!

In reply to: [Nomad World Map] Zoom Level IssueHi,
My default zoom level is set to “4”.
Per your suggestion, I did this:
[nwm_map id=”2″ zoom=”3″]
[nwm_map id=”1″ zoom=”5″]The result is clearly that the two maps are at different zoom levels, but the map id=1, is set to “5” while it’s showing a level much lower than that…
I tried this to see what happens, switching the zoom levels:
[nwm_map id=”2″ zoom=”5″]
[nwm_map id=”1″ zoom=”3″]The two maps did not change at all.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Samer
