No, I do not have a webmaster tools account. Is that a way to speed up the process?
Thank You.

In reply to: Switched to Blue Host – 404 errorI did. and they told me they are sorry but the files are missing, but that i needed to upload them myself. I should have asked for more clarification, but I didn’t. So now I’m stuck being in a position of not knowing enough about this to figure out what to do.
I could be completely wrong, but I am currently thinking that the transfer of hosts from namecheap.com to blue host went wrong somewhere, and some necessary files were not transferred. Actually, I’m pretty sure that’s what happened.

In reply to: Switched to Blue Host – 404 errorWell, it’s too late now right? I log onto my blue host portal and the only option is the big ‘log in to wordpress button’ which brings me to the 403 error. It thinks that it already installed it i think?
Thank You

In reply to: Switched to Blue Host – 404 errorHi, and thanks for the reply. I think something went wrong during the transferring of hosts. I’m sure you are confused by the question since the person asking it is very confused ??
There was just a an empty wordpress plugins folder in the root directory. I really have no idea how to proceed at this point.
I tried uploading wordpress to the root manually. That didnt help. I’m not sure what went wrong to cause the 403 error. I tried talking to blue host, and they said there was no files in the control panel. But that I needed to upload myself. So I uploaded wordpress into the root. But i think maybe it is still missing some necessary files in order to get rid of the 403 so that I can install wordpress?
Any help would be awesome!
Thank You

I figured it out. Thank You again!
OK. Would you be able to tell me how?
Thank You
Hi Kim,
Thanks for the quick reply! I think that IS what I’m saying. The link is showing the old site. Which I would think WOULD be the static html pages. So it sounds like I need to delete the index.html file? Correct?
Thank You!
