After closer inspection and testing I must admit you are right. Somehow I was under the impression the excerpt wasn’t used. Sorry!

However, is it possible to remove the article title from the auto description? It only takes valuable characters away from the description length, and has no purpose as far as I know, becasue the title already is right above it. Do you have any reason to repeat the title in the description? Or is this a little bug and is that what you refer to in the second part of your reply (which I didn’t quite understand)?

I don’t have an issue, the plugin just doesn’t do what I thought it would do. I modified my child theme to get what I want. Thanks for your reply though.

I’m sorry, I just noticed I hijacked an existing topic, instead of starting my own.

I thought this would make it possible to manage the post footer elements in my theme. Maybe I don’t understand the plugin, but I don’t have clue how I should use this plugin for that purpose.

I found out that there is a conflict with another plugin called CGD Arrange Terms. Disabling that one solved the issue.

WOW! You are absolutely right. I switched off mod_security and the problem is gone ??

So now I know this, I have to find the right settings to have it enabled again without causing your plugin to fail.

That field doesn’t support HTML. Right under the field there’s a line saying “HTML is not accepted.”

Update: I cleaned up my database with some cleanup plugins, and that seems to have affected your plugin as well. The quick edit works fine now! So it appears to have been some conflict somewhere. I’m very happy with Nested Pages now! ??

I’m still having the issue with the non-working Quick Edit function, and the pages with status hidden that I cannot make unhidden.

Almost the same issue here. In my case some pages were deleted from the menus, not the complete menus. I had to disable Sync. I hope the author will find a fix, as the sync function is very handy.

I’m also having this issue. I had to disable the sync function because after each sync all menus were messed up, both the Nested Pages main menu, as some other menus.

Another thing: created pages get the status Hidden (why?), but can’t be made unhidden because the Quick Edit function doesn’t work.
