Actually ALL major browsers (IE, FF, Chrome, Opera, Safari), all latest versions. I use Win 7.

Yes, I could have refrain from posting that it doesn’t do anything on my install. But that shurely would not have helped the author either. But you prefer no information above negative information, so it seems. As I said, this thing just doesn’t do anything, and I would like the author to know that. I’m already moving forward. No problem. In the mean time my problem is already solved, so I don’t need this plugin anymore. There is no incentive for me to be involved in the development of this plugin. There are thousands other plugins I have no incentive to be involved in either. This one is no different, otherwise that i tried it, and it fails on my installation. No big deal, but I cannot give more than 1 star for a plugin that doesn’t work with me, can I? At least the author now knows a bit more than if I would have not posted anything at all.

And, now if you excuse me, I’m off. Good luck with the plugin (not sarcastic, but sincere).

Why should I? This is my review. I don’t want or need support. I’m not interested in getting this plugin to work, nor to help the author. I just report my experience. That is what this review function is for.

I need this exactly the same!

I cannot understand why this is not a default setting. Man, the more I use Woocommerce, the more I dislike it. It is really too basic for any serious shop. You need dozens of plugins and custom coding to create a decent shop with it… Why is this piece of crap so popular anyway?

Hm, then I’ll just post a link to the file when it’s done. People can download and see for themeselves if they want to use it.

    Hi Remco,

I already have done many edits in the .po file, so I’m really not so keen on doing it all again by hand on that website ??

I can send you my edition when I’m done, if you like (still working on it).

This plugin makes my day, it’s really, really, really handy!! I dislike WordPress’ clunky way of working with images, it’s very counter intuitive and complex, and many clients of mine struggle with it. Your plugin makes it a lot easier to work with images. So thanks and keep up the good work!

This is such a plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/duplicate-images/

By the way: being used to several other CMS’s I really feel the WP way of handling images is very unfriendly. None of the systems I know have a system of attaching images to posts. This is non-intuitive and makes working with images and galleries in WP rather complex and cumbersome. The regular way of handling images in a CMS is that there is a repository (like the Media Library), where all the images are saved. Using one of multiple images on a page/post just calls those images from the repository. No need for “attaching” and fixed relations between images and the piece of content they are shown. If you want to show a gallery, just put the gallery plugin/module/tag where you want ti and link to those images you want to show from the repository.

I really don’t understand the reasons of the WP coders to do it the current way. I don’t see any advantages either, only much confusion among new users, and frustration among regular users. Let’s hope WP will ditch the attachment concept someday…
