Thanks so much. The image quality was set at 82. I will try to find out how I can use that code. Never did before.

Thank you so much for your response.

I have typically named my images following what I used for the posts, to stay consistent. But I would add a number to the images. And it has never caused a problem before. Only recently I started having a problem with the URLs adding an extra number at the end.

I went to the media page and added the word “image” at the end of the slug for all the images pertaining to those posts such as “moist-maple-cake-image-1” and then went back to the post and was able to revert to the original slug.

I found the following on the Yoast website where they state that the above mentioned errors are related to the theme.

I am using the child theme for virtue. Do you know if there may be any future updates to the virtue theme that addresses this?

    Thanks.

I accidentally posted the above note here. I meant to post it to seek answers from the Yoast forum. I could not figure out how to delete the note here.

I later saw that there are other people who have posted about hentry errors (missing author, missing updated) to their respective theme forums.

I have missing author and missing updated errors on all my pages. I thought this was related to the theme but I have been told it is related to SEO. I have the free version of the Yoast since the time I started my blog and have not see these errors previously. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Thanks so much.

Yes I have used Yoast for all my posts. I read somewhere that the missing attributes have to do with the theme. If it is not, then I am not sure if it has to do with the Yoast plugin. I will check with them. Thanks again.

Thanks for your response. I have used anchor links before. In the post link above I had added one somewhere within the text. “See below” takes the link to “health benefits of sprouts salad”.

I wanted to see if it was possible to use a code that can be applied to the entire site in a way that a “Jump to recipe” “print recipe” buttons show up right under the H1 title when there is a recipe on the page. And a “jump to video” when there is a video on that page.

Alternatively I can add the code for each post. In the post link I had sent above, there are already “print recipe” and “jump to recipe” links under the H1 title created using the code from the recipe plugin developer. But I do not know how to make them into buttons. Also I need to add a “jump to video” button right next to these, when I have a video on the page.

I can use anchor links too. If that would be better. Thanks again.

I would like Jump to Recipe, Print Recipe and Jump to video buttons where applicable. I have recipes on all my posts right now. But I wondered if its possible to write a code such that it shows up only on posts where there is a recipe. But right now all my posts are recipes. I dont have videos on all of them yet, but I would like to be able to put the code in a way that the Jump to video button shows up on the top when there is a video on the page. If all of that is difficult and complicated to apply through a single code that applies to the entire site, then I can paste the code for each post as needed.

Here is a link of a recent recipe post where I have used some code from the recipe plugin maker which shows up as clickable links right under the H1 title as “print recipe” and “jump to recipe”. I would like for it to be like buttons in the colors of my website, like blue for instance. If you click the “jump to recipe” in the following link then it takes you to the plugin where a “print” button shows up so I would like to have buttons like that right under the H1 title –

Or like what is in the links below

Thank you very much. I am not too tech savvy, so I used a plugin to make a child theme. I was mainly trying to add the breadcrumb navigation based off of a list of items suggested for website optimization by onpage.org by Yoast.

How does one find out if the breadcrumb navigation actually worked? Where do I look for that?

    Thanks again.

One more thing is – would it be possible to get rid of the little comments icon also, that is right below the title and above the first paragraph of the post. I am unable to copy the icon below but you can see this “| 0” below the title of the post. Thanks so much.

This barley porridge with blueberries is inspired by Talbeenah – a whole grain porridge prepared with ground barley, milk, honey and dates. I added oven roasted blueberries and walnuts to it. Barley has several nutritional benefits. It is rich in … Continued

    Hi Kevin,

That is awesome. The code did it.

Then, I clicked on one of the posts as below:

    https://www.thedeliciouscrescent.com/barley-porridge-with-blueberries/

Next I clicked on one of the tags at the bottom of the post – “dairy”, which took me to the following link

    https://www.thedeliciouscrescent.com/tag/dairy/

There I see the tags and categories showing up. And also on this page below:

    https://www.thedeliciouscrescent.com/topics/recipes/

There too I see the tags and categories listed.

What code could I use so that it does not show up on these topic and tag pages? The only place I would like to show the tags are at the bottom of the post.

Also, you had mentioned that it is possible to do this in blog settings site wide in theme options? How does one do that? I was curious.

In any case, I was mainly interested in hiding the tags and categories everywhere, except for the tags at the bottom of the posts. Is that possible?

    Thanks so much.

    Regards.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks so much for your response. You see like the list of categories and tags that appear in the excerpts of the recipes on the pages below – I would like to not have any of that information appear anywhere. It looks too messy I think. I wanted to organize the recipes by categories only for organizing into a recipe index which I am working to create. But I do not want it to appear like it is in these pages.

    https://www.thedeliciouscrescent.com/page/4/
    https://www.thedeliciouscrescent.com/page/5/

However it is okay, if the tags appear at the bottom of a post like this:

    https://www.thedeliciouscrescent.com/rose-rice-custard-with-pomegranate-jelly/

I would like to not have the categories list show up at the start of the above post though.

Just the tags at the bottom of the post is ok.

I am not sure if all of this is possible or not.

I know that currently I probably have too many categories and tags for each post, which is perhaps not good for SEO. I will try to minimize the number of the categories and tags assigned to each post.

Thanks for your time and support.
