In reply to: [footnotes] footnote text showing after updateHi guys,
I’m really sorry for the delay. We’ve just released a new version (1.3.0).
All known bugs are fixed and we added a feature to allow the user to add custom CSS for personal styling of the footnotes and the reference container.
Hope you enjoy the new version ??

In reply to: [footnotes] problem with first footnoteHi,
thanks for your request.
The problem is the </p> tag at the beginning of the footnotes text.
Can you please send me your origin text including the footnotes tag of this post so I can have a look on the used html tags around the footnotes tag.

In reply to: [footnotes] Mouse-Over BoxHi Manuel,
may you post an example page so we can have a look in detail on the footnotes styling your page is using?
It seems that your WordPress caches your pages and still has the old (version 1.2.4 or lower) footnotes CSS stylesheet activated. The footnotes 1.2.5 release has an updated CSS file to format the mouse-over-box.
Many thanks in advance.

In reply to: [footnotes] footnote text showing after updateI just had a look on your public page in detail and it seems that you don’t have the newest footnotes CSS stylesheet activated.
I guess your WordPress still has the old footnotes.css file in your cache and that’s why your mouse-over-box are displayed that way.
Can you please clear your cache once and try the mouse-over-box again?
Many thanks in advance.

We will immediately check that issue and will fix it ASAP.
The footnotes in your example page are shown, but without any CSS styling. Have you changed something since your request?

In reply to: [footnotes] Mouse-Over BoxHi Manuel,
thanks for your request.
We already know that issue and are currently working on it.You can easily disable the mouse-over box by removing the following tag in “wp-content\plugins\footnotes\templates\footnote.html”:
[ [ FOOTNOTE TEXT ] ]
The mouse-over box is made of CSS code only, so you can also play with it in the “css\footnote.css” file.
Element class: “footnote_plugin_tooltip”Have a nice day!

In reply to: [footnotes] Remove ')' in text bodyHi Paul,
please have a look in the “footnote.html” file located in “wp-content\plugins\footnotes\templates\”.
There you can find the “)” and remove or replace it with any character you want.
Thanks for your request.
