Password handling in the “login & registration form”, as created by the [rml_read_more] short-code, is not supported. (It is a good idea, maybe it will be included in future versions of the plugin.)

The pages as listed in the plugin’s Page Linking settings are not created by default, you need to create these manually. And you need to manually add the respective short-codes to these pages. The links given below the login, registration and password forms on these pages are set by the Page Linking settings. In case if any of these pages are missing, the link will default to WordPress overall login.

So if you want to have registration on a separate page, you need to create that page and put the short code [rml_register] in it. Same applies for the password-reset on separate page.

However, in case you want to use the WordPress’ default login/registration/password pages, you should empty the fields in the Page Linking settings.

I believe you inadvertently dumped into a known problem by Read More Login plugin cutting off remaining texts after the login form. This is a difficult problem and hard to uncover. It is partly caused by conflict with other plugin or theme. The problem and possibly work-arounds are described here:

Your proposed fix should be fine for you page, and other similar situations. However, the fix may not correct the root cause and may disturb the position of the fade for “normal” pages.

In case you need another possible fix, a hot-fix has been made. This includes an end tag [/rml_read_more] which is added after [rml_read_more]:

The fix will be implemented in future releases.

Sorry to inform that additional fields for collecting phone numbers are not supported as today. But indeed a good idea, I will put it on the feature list for future releases.

Addition fields for collecting telephone numbers, and other custom fields are indeed a good idea. It will become a reality in future releases.

Probably this is a know issue.

Problem is Visual Composer (and other similar content building plugins) wraps the content in additional html elements. The Read More Login plugin cuts of the end tag of these elements when hiding remaining texts. This cause page to be messed up.

I have made a hot-fix to overcome the problem. Instruction and downloads:

I’m not sure if I understood your question. You can put the combined read-more/login form on any post you like. It is not put in posts and pages by default, you have to manually write in the [rml_read_more] shortcode.

So I guess the answer will be yes, but maybe not in the way you wanted it. There is no such functionality to select what posts to select based on categories. (Maybe it will be added in future versions.)

Sorry for taking very long time to respond, and sorry to hear you have some problems with password recovery.

This may be a bit tricky to resolve, additional info is be needed. If changing password are still not working, please try record a debug log during the whole password change sequence.

In the plugin settings, in Advanced settings, enable debug logging with extra info. Make a password recovery. Download the read_more_login_plugin.log file, and send it to [email protected] .

However, not decided how it will be implemented. Using shortcodes and combine it with other plugins may be one options.
