For Google Search results, I believe it should be automatically fixed once this preview bug is fixed. That’s I feel.

I am surprised that this is not reported by anyone until now and such an important feature.

But if it is generating fine, then why the breadcrumb is not showing in the preview section of the EDIT post page? See below.

If I assume that it is some other non-Yoast issue, then it should have shown correctly in the Google preview right?

No. I did not re-install. That would be a huge effort considering it is a LIVE site with visitors.

Yes. If I directly put the image URL – it is visible in browser. Even attachment page also visible.

I removed the code yesterday.

Anyway, thanks bdbrown. Now I understand. Header ad may overlay the logo/tagline in smaller screens. I can go ahead with the fixed ad. Only thing is, most of the visits these days are from smaller screens and ad won’t be shown in those cases, reducing the revenue. Anyway, no issues.

Upon further analysis I found that responsive ads are not showing, where as fixed length ads are showing.
