Duh, 3. So that’s the problem!
I don’t see why allowing only three posts in Admin/Settings/Reading should impact the monthly archives page where only titles, author, date and categories show. Why not show all the posts for each month on the Archives page and let the blog owner determine how many posts they want to show on the main page? I don’t see why these two are tied together but THANKS! you did solve my problem.
