There should be a message about Chrome there.
And regarding Chrome, the reason that decision was made was simply because it is the best experience regarding using the tools.
Chrome’s Javascript engine is the fastest and least buggy, so if other browsers were supported they would likely be slow/laggy and ultimately PageLines would be blamed for this.
In the near future, other browsers will be supported.

In reply to: [PageLines] Updates are sometimes brokenWe are always very careful about this.
But why do you update if you don’t want the improvements?
If “Never change a running system” is important to you, that means don’t hit the update button.

Free PageLines Support Forum@ivanling, doesn’t sound like that issue is related to PageLines…
@drew would need to know more specifics about hosting, to get that fixed.

In reply to: [PageLines] Crashed my WordPress install as soon as I activatedThis can sometimes happen on lower-cost shared hosting. The framework uses a LESS processing engine that gives you some blow away capability; however it does have some memory requirements.
To fix simply talk to your host about your memory limit or set it yourself. We recommend having at least 64M available when using PageLines (the standard amount for average hosting)
Of course the lite version supports multisite, the extra functionality comes in with the pagelines-customize plugin loading site specific css and functions depending on the blog ID with the dev version.

In reply to: Is Platform Woth It?@andylips – the free version should run thumbnails just fine.
when migrating, all your theme options and customizations should be stored in the DB .. when you change to the Pro version all those settings will still be there.
Just don’t edit the core theme files

In reply to: Overrated – this free theme is a marketing ployEverything should be super easy to customize in the free version.
E.g. How about adding:
h1{ color: #000;}
or whatever rule to custom CSS?The only reason we charge is so we can continue developing for you guys. Both free and paid customers love what the software is doing for them.
Did you prefer we work for you for free?

In reply to: Want EcoPro/PlatformPro then WPPlatform bombedHey,
Try reactivating the theme. There is a small activation bug in the most recent version of Platform.
Also, regarding EcoPro… just FYI that is a stand alone theme; so it wont work on top of Platform.
Have you tested the themes at https://test.pagelines.com ?
