Thanks for your prompt reply. As soon as I add your code to the additional css section the issue disappears. It’s great but I wonder if this is a test or it is a permanente solution (ie will reappear if I change the settings of the plugin or I update the IG feed??

Problem solved. Just in case it helps anyone else…

After checking with our hosting company and checking several options, including manually deactivating the plugin and requesting a new ssl certificate the problem persisted but we found what was causing the problem: The hosting company included free of charge a basic suscription to Cloudfare, which was activated. It turns out that this Cloudfare free plan did not allow for redirects (premium plans do, apparently). All we had to do was cancelling the Cloudfare account and everything worked like a charm!

Thanks a lot for your assistance. Your article on manually deactivating the plugin was also a great help! I hope this helps others.

Thanks. None of the suggestions actually worked, but just in case it changes your reply, I have just noticed that in fact it is not a 404 error but a ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR (sorry for that) and the message “This website cannot provide a secure connection” (I am translating from Spanish, so the wording might be different in English).

Many thanks eventualo. I read that post before using the plugin, and I guess that prevented me from having those common problems. I did not relate, however, that post to my question, so thanks for that.

Obviously using a localised version of the plugin made me misundertand the way it works. If I got it right, Subscribe2 sends nine emails (in this example), each one of them with up to 350 addresses in the Bcc field, and not 350 emails per hour as I originally thought, right?

It would seem that thios is not possible for the time being. I have been unable to make any use of the photo tags outside the suggestions shown at this post.

I agree. While I have reached the same frustration being unable to use the image tags it is MY problem, not Alex′s, and I am most grateful for what he has done so far for free. I will have to wait or find another product to replace or complement NGG, although so far I′ve been unable to find it.

It was so simple that I could not imagine why, but all I have to do is, following your tip, to remove the “flickr” tag from the post, and everything′s back to normal. Still, a rather odd behaviour, and only surfaced after the 2.8 upgrade…

Exactly the same problem here. It was working fine until a couple of days ago. I can only think of the WP upgrade as an explanation. Now clicking takes you to the Flick website. The only other plugin Ive been working with recently is the Flshviewer for NextGen gallery, but the problem persists after disable them:
