Hi Tom, sorry for the delay.. it’s really tough to identify the issue. This plugin is very simple, it just grabs the posts based on the criteria you give.

Maybe the output is being hidden via CSS?
Maybe another plugin is blocking the shortcode from executing?

Again, very hard to tell without digging deep into your site.

And when you turn that setting off in Yoast, the plugin works?

You can do this via CSS.. I cannot code the plugin to do this, unfortunately.

I’ve tested this and don’t find it to be the case.. sorry it didn’t work for you ??

Hi Kaisar, I understand what you’re trying to do, however, it would take a good bit of development to build this AND keep the current functionality.

I would recommend re-writing this plugin to suit your needs.

Jeffgedgaud, I’m looking at your site.. the images are too big for the H1 (title) or vice versa (the titles are too small for the images).

I would make your images smaller (using this plugin’s shortcode attribute “size” set to 50 or 64) … or otherwise, add a CSS class to make your title’s bigger…

Ah ha, there ya go!… Remove the formatting on the shortcode and it should resolve!
