In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Unparsable structured data reportalekosk, great that it has helped you. In my case, the breadcrumbs option is turned off from the very beginning, and the error I get is not extra ‘,’ but the value “@id”:false,”name”:”Media” that is marked in red. I don’t know what it means exactly and how to deal with it. Hope the code developers could look into it too.

In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Unparsable structured data reportThank you, skylarkcob, but I see no way to do it manually because it’s inserted by this plugin throughout the site. How do you deal with this error?

In reply to: [Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP] Unparsable structured data reportI get the same error: Unparsable structured data => Structured data with syntax errors detected => Incorrect value type “@id”
It affects a number of pages, all of them being unattached media files like this:
https://www.russiandog.net/pit-bull-dog-portraitWhen I check it with the Structured Data Testing Tool, it doesn’t show any errors but Google Search Console insists that there is a “syntax error” here:
{“@context”:”http:\/\/schema.org”,”@type”:”BreadcrumbList”,”@id”:”https:\/\/www.russiandog.net\/pit-bull-dog-portrait#breadcrumb”,”itemListElement”:[{“@type”:”ListItem”,”position”:1,”item”:{“@id”:”https:\/\/www.russiandog.net”,”name”:”Russian Dog”}},{“@type”:”ListItem”,”position”:2,”item”:{“@id”:false,”name”:”Media”}}]},
and marks false,”name”:”Media” in red.
Probably, it has something to do with the last update of the plugin to version 1.9 because it has started after this update and never happened before (I didn’t change any settings).
Please, someone, advise how to deal with this error.
Hello Ahmed,
Thank you for your quick answer. I have switched off the AD #3 and instead, I have switched on the Above Content Ad in the Advanced AMP Ads extension.
Now I have only one ad displayed but, as I said before, it’s just a temporary decision for me because this extension displays ads only on posts and not on pages. Here’s the active plugins list:
AMP for WP
Ad Inserter Pro
Advanced AMP ADS
Akismet Anti-Spam
All In One SEO Pack
AMPforWP Plugin Manager
Atomic Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks Collection
Classic Editor
Featured Image Admin Thumb
GDPR Cookie Consent Banner
Genesis Simple Breadcrumbs
Genesis Simple Edits
Genesis Simple Hooks
Jetpack by WordPress.com
Redirection
Schema & Structured Data for WP
Scriptless Social Sharing
Smush
WP RocketHi Ahmed,
Thank you for your attention.
I have switched on the AD #3 again, and after that, I have this problem on every post and page. This time it’s not 3 but 2 ads one below another. I’ve tested it on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera (with ads blocking turned off).
Just a random post:
https://www.russiandog.net/russian-german-shepherd.html/ampOn most pages, the upper ad is visible, and the one below produces the word “Ad” and then leaves a blank space. You can see them both present in the page source anyway.
If you are lucky, you’ll see 3 ads simultaneously ??Please check it ASAP because I can’t keep it like that for long.
Best,

In reply to: [Scriptless Social Sharing] AMP pages Display Custom Pinterest ImageThank you Robin! Well, at least it will solve the problem of two images on the page. The AMPforWP plugin lets the user add some custom CSS. Will you be so kind as to give me the code when you make the update ??

In reply to: [Scriptless Social Sharing] AMP pages Display Custom Pinterest ImageHi Robin,
Thank you for your quick response and your willingness to help.
Frankly, I don’t feel comfortable with updating plugin files manually, so I would prefer the “adding some CSS” option, or some other option for an ordinary user:)
I agree with you that a hidden image won’t give any benefit but two identic images (difference in size only) don’t look great either.
Ideally, I would be happy if the Pinterest sharing button provided by AmpforWP could use the custom Pinterest image provided by your plugin, but I don’t know if it’s really possible. Unfortunately, at the moment the AMPforWP’s Pinterest button pulls the post’s featured image to share on Pinterest and displays your plugin’s custom image at the end of the content.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP pages are not validAhmed Kaludi, before installing 51.2 there was this AddThis issue that made all the pages (not posts) invalid. To overcome it, we were advised to and we had switched on the AddThis support in the plugin’s settings.
After installing 51.2, the pages were valid but all the posts became invalid! It took me some time to understand that I need to go to the plugin’s settings and switch off the AddThis support.
As soon as I did this, all my posts became valid again but it so happened that Google has mentioned this problem. Two hours later I have received a message from the Search Console that more than 200 of my AMP posts are invalid. I immediately started the validation process but until now Google considers 62 of my posts as invalid (though they are ok).
jorgitorb, in general, I like this plugin and I can see that its creators are trying hard to make it the best among AMP plugins. Probably, they should be more cautious with the new updates because of the problems that these updates have created in the last few weeks (incompatibility with wp-rocket, addthis double issue). The problems are being settled with additional updates but my website has already lost 60% of its AMP traffic.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP pages are not validjorgitobg, if/when you install this .52 update, you have to immediately disable AddThis in AMPforWP settings (the temporary solution above), otherwise, all your posts will become invalid. I have made it with a 10 minutes delay, and two hours later I received a message from Google ZSearch Console that 233 of my posts are invalid (in fact, many times more than that). It’s awful! I’m losing my AMP traffic every day.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP pages are not validI didn’t do that because I don’t have AddThis. It works without it.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP pages are not validIt’s a bug that they promise to fix tomorrow. Till then please enable AMP>Design>Social>Enable AddThis (Enable this) then your issue resolved.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP pages are not validjorgitorb, it’s a strange bug. View the settlement in another topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/an-amp-component-script-tag-is-present-but-is-not-used/

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] AMP pages are not validSame issue. I don’t use addthis plugin and it’s not installed but my pages became invalid.
It happens only on pages – not posts.
First, Google Search console has sent me a message that my pages are not valid because “An AMP component ‘script’ tag is present, but unused.”
I’ve checked the pages with AMP validator that said “The extension ‘amp-addthis’ was found on this page, but is unused. Please remove this extension.”
I’ve checked with Google AMP test that said the same.
Actually, I’m not sure it has anything to do with the addthis plugin.
It started recently, maybe even today. Could it be connected with the last wordpress update?

Leandro, no, it won’t fall. You can temporarily use another free cashing plugin instead. I’ve just installed WP Super Cache. It’s nice and it doesn’t create problems (I have used it before). When WP Rocket and AMP for WP become compatible again, I will switch on the WP Rocket back ??
