In reply to: [CopySafe PDF Protection] File uploaded but not listed on file listYes, in function.php on line 219 we have chmod(WPCSP_UPLOAD_PATH, 0775);
But I do not think this is the reason for plugin not working for you.

In reply to: [ASPS Check Referrer] restricted myselfWe did make changes so that should never happen, so I am interested to know how you did this?
To restore access you have 2 options:
1. Delete the plugin from the plugin folder.
2. Or edit the plugin’s settings in the wp_options table.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Secure Image Protection] Images refuse to uploadMake sure that you are indeed uploading “.class” files.
Otherwise this will be a permissions issue and perhaps the method/tools used to set those permissions are failing to set READ, WRITE and EXECUTE for EVERYONE.

In reply to: [CopySafe PDF Protection] File uploaded but not listed on file listIt is always about permissions.
You need read, write and execute on the folder for everyone (Apache).

In reply to: [CopySafe Web Protection] Upload folder permissionSomething is overwriting your permissions? If they were indeed set correctly then perhaps your host’s control or your control panel system is over-riding it.

In reply to: [CopySafe PDF Protection] File uploaded but not listed on file listIf it is not listed, then it does not exist… failed to upload.
Check that you have read, write and execute permissions set on the upload folder and that the setting for the upload folder is correct.

CopySafe PDF webview vs document download
While we do provide a plugin to display CopySafe PDF on web pages, due to the instability of popular web browsers we no longer recommend web page display. In fact most authors have found that they have better protection, more user control and no hassles when distributing CopySafe PDF documents by email, download and on CD.

In reply to: [Secure Image Protection] Be careful!!!You must be very clumsy. All you needed to do was delete the secure-image folder in your plugins folder.
Also, it sounds like you did not apply the correct permissions to the secure-image upload folder in the fist place.

In reply to: [CopySafe Web Protection] Doesn't Stop Print ScrnEven in “demo” mode you can evaluate the plugin… if it displays the test image then the plugin is working.
If uploading Copysafe Web encrypted images then they will be uploaded to the CopysafeWeb upload folder which does not affect other images added to the same page.
You can add protection to other normal images (in fact any media on the page) by adding one small Copysafe Web encrypted image.
The links to purchase a Copysafe Web software licence can be found on their product pages at https://www.artistscope.com.
Another alternative, and a much more secure one that protects ALL media on the page, and one not dependent on popular web browsers and their incostincies, is to instead use the ArtistScope Site Protection System … (ASPS)

In reply to: [CopySafe Web Protection] Doesn't Stop Print ScrnYes, all screen capture is prevented. But you need to use the add-on in “licensed mode” and for that you need to purchase the Copysafe Web software to create an images for upload that are encrypted for your website (Domain Lock).

In reply to: [CopySafe Web Protection] Not able to upload any fileYou need to set permissions on the upload folder for read, write and execute. Otherwise you cannot upload to it.
Only encrypted images can be uploaded (as .class files). To protect PDF you add an encrypted image to trigger protection and then you can add any media in the normal way and it will be protected from Printscreen and capture. However in the case of PDF printing must be disabled at the PDF creation stage.
But you need to use encrypted images that have been created for “your” website and for that you need to purchase the Copysafe Web software.

In reply to: [CopySafe PDF Protection] can not upload pdf files with demo modeFor upload purposes demo mode makes no difference. But make sure that you have the very latest version because it should provide an alternative if your webhost has disallowed session checking.
