I tried using other plugins which change the name of roles. My site is: https://www.artistworkshop.de … I have no idea from where that widget is taking those names, though. Not from a wordpress code, cause I tried to change those with plugins and code snippets.

Hey Brown!, Thx… works like a charm. Actually, upon testing it, the vertical dropdown menu is better to handle. Or! Is there a way to make the horizontal version not as a pop up but like a stationary menu? Like, when you click on a button in the main menu, a second horizontal sub menu below the main menu is created, which is a menu line that is always there and will not disappear, when you move you mouse?

Actually I resolved the problem. First of all, WP was missing the .htaccess file. The content of the file I took from the code from the WP settings under Permalinks. Then I uploaded the that file into my WP ftp structure. A bit above in the permalinks settings you also have to choose ‘postname’, save and everything works as supposed to be.

I really wanted it work. Since there is no help in working out my problem, which is that I can not get the event listing link to work, I will have to look for alternatives. I am not able to resolve this problem and leaves me frustrated. Sorry.

After clean install, moving f.e. Categories to ‘no parent’, the link works. Keeping it under the parent ‘events’ and the link wont work.
