Hey Touchcoding! I don’t have that CSS rule in my Custom CSS. I don’t need the hover effect I would just like my images to show up properly without it looking the way it does now, terrible. Then when I searched in CSS for that specific rule I couldn’t find it. Do you think I should create I guess a grandchild theme to change it?

Hey Bojan I figured out quite a bit and did changed the header as you’ve mentioned above. For the static page I wanted more of a column-oriented with a slider and such to keep up with latest posts. I haven’t figured it out quite yet but I’m working on it. Thanks a lot for all of your help.

Great suggestion, I started reading the materials and watching tutorials last night. Starting with HTML, it is a bit much for me at this time but I’ll continue on. What I would like to do is changed the height of my header, create a magazine layout for my static page, and change the color of the menu slider. (For starters) I’ve been searching through plugins and reading so much but honestly I’m not that knowledgeable of developing a website quite yet.

Hey Bojan! I hope your day is going swell, that plugin worked perfectly!!! I’m super stoked for designing my site and learning much more! Do you have any suggestions for learning about css styling, coding, and such? There are a few other changes I would love to make and not sure how. Thank you for all of your help, this has brightened my day already : )

AWESOME Bojan! I will definitely look into this, I’m such a newbie at designing that I hadn’t quite considered the navigation part..or even using any css styling. Thank you so much for taking the time out to help and I’ll report back later this day with updates.
