Hey @efsane66, as you may know WordPress is a domain dependent application which some times works only with the domain which it has been configured with.

If you want to make your site work via www I would recommend that you check the following codex page – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress.

Always remember to create a backup of your database before making any changes so that if something goes wrong, you can always revert to a functioning stage.

I recommend that you first make a backup from Softaculous and then simply try to replace the current files with a fresh copy of the WordPress files which you can download from:

    Download WordPress Here.

Replacing the existing core files with fresh ones can really fix some issues with missing files or corrupted ones. This can be helpful with incorrect permissions as well.

Also, make sure that you have the correct RewriteBase directives in your .htaccess file if you have changed the permalink type. You can find the default WordPress .htaccess at:

    WordPress Codex

Let me know if you’re still having troubles after trying the above suggested.

    Best Regards.

I would recommend that you temporary disable the math question and see if you are able to log in without the captcha plugin enabled. If you are able, that means that there is an issue with the plugin and you might want to consider reinstalling it.

To disable the captcha plugin temporarily, there are a few options.

    1 – From the database.
2 – Renaming the plugin folder.

As disabling it from the database can break your site really easily, I would recommend going with the second option. To disable it, simply navigate to the wp-content/plugins folder and rename the captcha plugin’s folder name (add a 1 or any other symbol at the end).

Make sure to always backup your site and its database prior to any changes!

    Cheers.
