I just downgraded WordPress to version 5.7.3, and now, it works again.

With WordPress 5.8.1 it didn’t work. When opening a page to edit, I got the gallery, only. The Button to exit the gallery was gone.

I solved the problem by css styling.

Sorry, yes the problem is resolved. I had to delete the welcome email. After that, it worked.

I deactivated the Welcome Email. Now, the error message is gone, but it still does not send.

Thank you for your quick reply. We deactivated the SJB plugin for we don’t have many job opportunities at the moment. So the problem ist solved for now.
I don’t think, it’s a conflict with other plugins because it worked all the time very well.

Since I got no reply yet, I returned to the old version mailpoet2. Here, sending works fine.

Problem solved. I’m now using another plugin for mobile menu. This works fine.

I already tried this, but it’s still too long for all menu items.
