The tag line is part of the logo that comes with the theme (in images folder: logo.png). If you make your own logo (image file) and put a tagline in it, you will be all set. To upload your own logo: Appearance > Dandelion Options > Style settings > and click the logo tab. You don’t have to give it the same name; name it what you want.

I have used this theme for a client and that worked for me.

In the end it was easier to change the name of the parent gallery so that it was not redundant with the page name.

This is for a very simple site: no subpages, one parent gallery with 4 subgalleries.

The breadcrumbs list both the Page and the Album Title. I want one or the other but not both.

Page > Album Title > Sub-Album Title

I want either:

Page > Sub-Album Title
or
Album Title > Sub-Album Title

Any help about what file to find this in would be appreciated. Apparently this can’t be set anywhere in the WP Photo Album Plus Settings page.

mp3-jplayer alternative

After major difficulties with mp3-jplayer on WP 3.4 and 3.2, I reinstalled WordPress on the client site (WP 3.3.2 was the Fantastico auto install version available). Then I installed the Embed HMTL5 Audio plugin and I am happy with the results.

One iPad user said the audio halted and restarted when she played it, so there might be some issue there. I need to do more iOS testing.

I backed out of WP 3.4 and installed 3.2.1 instead. The player is still not working. This must be a jQuery issue. I deactivated all plugins but MP3-jPlayer and still could not get it working.

Same issue here.

The site is really nice. Clean and simple.

In WooCommerce you can override the use of the plugin’s CSS, but that leads to other problems on the shop and category pages, so I think I need to work with the Woo CSS and the single product page itself. I’m using Genesis + ClipCart66 child theme.

Best of luck with wrapping up your site. We all know that the last bit of work can take as long as the first 80%.

I just did this. This worked for me, and hasn’t broken anything so far.

Go to wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce-hooks.php

In the woocommerce-hooks.php file, comment out the following line (it is at line 51 in my version) under the comment After Single Products Summary Div:

add_action( 'woocommerce_after_single_product_summary', 'woocommerce_output_related_products', 20);

Result:
/* add_action( 'woocommerce_after_single_product_summary', 'woocommerce_output_related_products', 20); */

Now I am trying to figure out how to format the single product page. It is pretty gross, very narrow for no reason. Given that there will only be one product on a detail page, it is really bad design to format that page with the tiniest thumbnail and a very narrow column. If you have any hints about fixing that formatting, please post!

WooCommerce support is available on the WooThemes forums with the purchase of any theme or WooCommerce plugin.

Okay. Given the absence of solutions/responses over the months, I conclude that the folks who created and maintain WordPress Simple Paypal Shopping Cart do not care at all about their users.

I have moved on to trying other eCommerce plugins. Mostly they are as crappy as this one, although WooCommerce looks promising even if what they call documentation is not documentation at all, merely a bare bones reference manual that describe parts os the interface and not how to do anything, and even though product categories are coming up empty even when there are products in that category. And if you care about being able to charge by weight with several weight tiers (a la PayPal) or applying quantity discounts, don’t spend $89 on Cart66.

I updated to version v3.2.3 before I activated and used the plugin.

I still cannot get the shipping to be passed to PayPal. It shows in the cart, and the calculations work just great there for additional products, but NOTHING but the price goes to PayPal.

In PayPal, I deactivated the PayPal shipping calculator. In the plugin, I made sure that “Use PayPal Profile Based Shipping” is NOT checked.

This is beyond annoying.

Now none of the galleries on my site work. There is a message displayed: “Rendering of template gallery-wp-eStore.php failed”. Please help. This is ruining my business!!

It probably just means that you need to put that template file back after the upgrade. NextGen might have overwritten the view directory where templates are during the upgrade. The templates are in wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/view/

Not sure if gallery-wp-eStore.php goes in the views folder because it is an add on, but I bet it does.
