Hello Filippo,
Thank you for the kind words and for using it for many years. I appreciate it.
Inserting image title has been an issue since the Gutenberg came along. There are some open issues in Gutenberg that if resolved will help me with this #8473, #10204. Until then I can’t figure out an elegant way to do this.
The bulk updater can add image title. So in case you have the pro-version, you can use the option,
Update image attributes on post publish or update
to work around this issue for now – https://imageattributespro.com/update-image-attributes-on-save-post/I will keep an eye out for a solution and will definitely be fixing it when possible. It still works in the classic editor, which is why I have not removed the UI option. Sorry about the confusion.
Wish you a pleasant weekend. Best wishes and thanks again.
Hello @esquipulas
Thanks for checking out my plugin.
If you are referring to the upsell banner on the right sidebar, yes they are removed in the pro version. You can see the screenshots here: https://imageattributespro.com/#home-screenshots
While I understand your frustration, please note that the banners are placed only within my plugin settings page and not beyond that. I need a way to let users know there is a premium version and the plugin settings page is the only way. We cannot collect email or reach out to the user in any other way. I hope you understand.
Please checkout the screenshots. Hope that helps.
Thank you for your kind words @emrekanbay. Appreciate you taking the time to leave a 5 star review. Makes me glad. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words @saglikdanismani . Happy to know that the plugin is useful and thanks for five stars!!
Hello @alexliii,
Thanks for your question. You can use the
the_content
filter of WordPress to remove them in run time. An example is available in this doc – https://imageattributespro.com/bulk-remove-wordpress-image-titles/With the pro addon (Image Attributes Pro), you can update it in the database by using an empty custom attribute. The above linked doc explains that too.
I hope that helps. Best regards.
Arun
Hello @smiranda
Thank you for checking out my plugin. In the free version, existing alt text is replaced.
In the pro version, there is an option to preserve existing alt text, more details here: https://imageattributespro.com/preserve-existing-image-attributes/
Hope that answers your question ??
Thanks for the 5 star review @doylegirl ?? Appreciate the kind words and so happy that you find my humble plugin useful.
Thank you for the 5 star review Kori and the kind words. Happy that it’s useful ??
Hello @pizienolamitica
Thanks for the heads up, my name is Arun. I did a test just now on the latest version of WordPress and the plugin. However I was unable to recreate the issue.
You can see me uploading an image via the Media Library as well as the Gutenberg Image Block – https://jmp.sh/aqf09q81
Kindly take a look and advice as to what I am missing out on. Thanks in advance.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Admin CSS MU] Where is the style sheet savedHello! Thanks for the kind words.
The plugin does not create any stylesheet. Rather it injects the CSS into the page HTML. However caching plugins might move it into a CSS file / elsewhere.
Please clear the cache completely and see if the issue persists. Looking forward to your feedback.
Hello @alexliii
Thanks for the suggestion. In the pro version you can select images from the Media Library and update them – https://imageattributespro.com/bulk-actions/
In the long term I want to get to a point where the user does not have to even think of the order and updates happen more fluidly rather than in any particular order. I will explain once I have that in place.
Btw, I am on vacation, so please expect a delay before I can reply to all your questions.
Thanks for using my plugin ??
Hello @susgeek
Sorry to hear that. Let me see what I can do to improve the messaging further. Hope you had a database backup to revert back.
Just noticed that you updated the review. I have reached out to you via our previous conversation from 6 months ago to see what happened. Hopefully we can reach a resolution soon.
An update, I have updated the warning text and made it bolder in the product description. That should help future users from the same issue I hope.
Hello again Devin, I have written the doc as I said, you may read it here – https://imageattributespro.com/add-missing-image-attributes/
The first part might not apply to you since you are using the basic version. Hope that helps ??
