In reply to: Website color accessibilityHi michaelaterndrup,
All of these answers are great. There’s also a post that lists other available tools for checking color contrast, as well as to help designers create color palates that meet WCAG 2.0 guidelines: Color contrast tools

In reply to: Best accessible captcha for disability people(visual).Hi rseigel,
See the link I posted in my first reply regarding the fundamental problem with captchas in particular, which includes information on Google’s current implementation of recaptcha specifically.

In reply to: I'm not able to click on links to the posts I publishHi,
A lot of this depends on your theme, but typically, themes are not coded to open “read more” links in a new tab or window. If a user chooses, they can shift-left-click and open in new window, or right-cick and open in new tab, but WordPress themes don’t typically force what, in essence, is an internal link, to open in a new tab or window. If you really want to do this, you will need to post in one of the other forums here on www.ads-software.com to receive assistance with customizing your theme. This forum is for questions related to web accessibility as it relates to WordPress, themes and plugins, for both developers and users.
Hope that helps,
Amanda

In reply to: I'm not able to click on links to the posts I publishHi,
I’ve just visited your site, and I’m able to click on and read your posts. Can you be a little more specific about the steps you’re taking, whether or not you’re using any assistive technology such as a screen reader or magnifier, and where on your site you’re encountering the problem?
Thanks,
Amanda

In reply to: Best accessible captcha for disability people(visual).Hi,
Thank you for your question. With regard to captchas and accessibility, there are several fundamental problems, which you can learn more about by reading the information here. https://blog.sinabahram.com/explaining-the-fundamental-accessibility-challenge-of-captcha/
As an alternative to a captcha, you should consider using something like a logic or math-based question that a user must answer in order to submit the form. WordPress plugins for this include:
Human Captcha: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/humancaptcha/
Math Captcha: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-math-captcha/These are for securing your comments form, registration form, and login form. If these or similar from the WordPress plugins repository don’t help, please feel free to reply to this post with more information so we can narrow down some choices.
Thanks,
Amanda

Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: difference between wordpress host and any other hostHi,
Creating a site with WordPress, (which you download from www.ads-software.com), requires you to have a host. This is why it is often referred to as self-hosted. If you’re referring to WordPress.com as “WordPress”, there’s a difference between the two, which you can find out more about at https://get.wordpress.com.
Hope this helps,
Amanda
Hi,
Which theme are you using, and, if it’s not custom, is it something you downloaded from the theme repository, or purchased from a third party?

In reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_removable_query_args()Hi,
Have you tried logging into your server via FTP or SFTP and navigating to /wp-content/themes/ and renaming the directory of your currently active theme? This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

In reply to: WooCommerce Checkout Order-Pay Endpoint IssueHi Kirill,
Do you have Woo Commerce Multilingual installed, or just Woo Commerce and WPML? If you have Woo Commerce Multilingual installed, which you’ll need along with Woo Commerce, this documentation may be helpful. https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/
I hope that helps,
Amanda

In reply to: How to get SiteLogin another site to my wordpress?Hi,
This would probably be better suited for the hacks forum, as there’s going to be some custom code needed to pull this off.

In reply to: My company has it's own hosting server — will it work with WP?Hi,
If your company is running their own server, you can certainly run WordPress on that. You’ll need to make sure your server meets the minimum requirements for WordPress, but, assuming you’re already running other applications on it, it’s likely that you are.
Hope this helps,
Amanda

In reply to: Transfer SiteHi,
I want to make sure, before I simply paste a link to the “moving WordPress” article on the Codex, that you haven’t gone through that yet. If you haven’t, I can paste the link here. If you have, and you’re still having trouble, I can assist you further.
