In reply to: [BJ Lazy Load] Images all showing blankHi,
Actually I realized that the jQuery.js file is inside the app-ck.js file which is used for the responsive theme. Will this plugin work with this type of setup? I tried putting the script tag in the header and before the closing <body> tag, but it didn’t work in either location.
Any other ideas or is this setup simply not supported at this time?
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [BJ Lazy Load] Images all showing blankHi,
Thanks for your response. I also tried wp_head, but that didn’t work. I think I may have figured it out. Do I need to add a <script> tag linking to the latest version of jQuery in my <head> section?
When I enable the plugin, I don’t see any reference to that file in my source code. Do I have to do that manually? I checked on some other sites that use the plugin and saw the reference to the jQuery script.
Thanks,
Aseem

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Plugin Needs More SEO OptionsAlso, it would be nice if you could add descriptive text on the first page of the category archives. This is a common SEO recommendation and it’s hard to implement because you only want the descriptive text to appear on the first page of the for each category archive.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Pagination/Canonical issuesYes I would like the ability to do this also. Currently there is no way to link back to the original page, it just links to the current page! An SEO plugin should definitely have this option.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] 404 Error when trying to create a sitemapI am also having this issue. Just installed the lastest version and clicking on the XML Sitemap button. Do you have to publish a post for it to create the sitemap? That file does not exist.
Thanks Alex! Great plugin! I think I’ll write a post about it on my blog!
Well the page stopped updating after a couple of hundred images. I’m guessing that means it is no longer smushing right?

In reply to: Upgrading to W3 Total Cache 0.9.2.4 breaks website. There is definitely some bug with the latest version. I upgraded an older version of the plugin and I can’t make a single change to the plugin without getting an 500 error. It’s something with the way it updates the .htaccess file.
I have to get rid of all the rules in the file and then the site comes back up. I try again and it does the same thing. I’m not upgrading any of my other sites till a new version is released.

In reply to: Redirection Plugin Not WorkingHi John,
Sorry for the late reply, I did not get a notification that you replied!
Anyway, the first few redirects work all the time, but after the first 4 redirects that I manually added, the others simply do not work at all.
And under the Hits, if I visit any of the first four redirected URLs, it shows up as a hit (the number increases).
However, when I visit the ones that don’t work, it doesn’t show up as a hit either. So for whatever reason, the plugin is not recognizing the source URL and therefore is not redirecting nor logging it as a hit.
If you need any other information about my setup, please let me know.
Thanks for your help!
Aseem

In reply to: Redirection Plugin Not WorkingI’m having the same problem using 2.2.5 and WordPress 3.04. The first few redirects work fine, but after that nothing is working! I’m using the WordPress module! Is this a bug that needs to be fixed?

In reply to: WP Super Cache – Caches Category Page Instead of Home PageNo I don’t have a static front page, just the permalinks structure you mentioned. I will go ahead and try to see if I can find anything! Thanks!

In reply to: WP Super Cache – Caches Category Page Instead of Home PageAhhh OK, that makes more sense, there is an underlying reason for it. Hmm, so my having /category/post-title is what causes this issue.
What exactly do you need to do in order to debug this? What skills are required to fix it? Maybe I can help. I have a tech friend who knows Linux, Apache, PHP and WordPress very well (what my server is running).

In reply to: WP Super Cache – Caches Category Page Instead of Home PageHi Donncha, so how do you know how many users have blogs that are configured in this certain way that causes the problem? If you don’t know what configuration is causing the problem in the first place, how can you know how many people actually have this configuration for WordPress?
Maybe you could write up a questionnaire and send that to all the people you know are having this issue and then see what is possibly common between them. I would think this might get you the answer quicker than us trying random stuff. (What plugins is everyone using, permalinks or not, shared hosting or dedicated, etc, etc)
