Thanks for that, but already sorted. Don’t trust a lot of these big hosts. More often than not the rigid frame work operate under is designed with $$$$ signs in their eyes. So I have my own solution.

I came across your theme completely by accident, inherited from a previous admin and as I said, only been using WordPress for a short time. Of all the themes that I have tried It’s one of the most robust and easy to use. Have some great ideas. Give me a private mail can’t say too much on an open board?

Not the first time I have experienced problems with this host. I use a CDN cloud to front my sites and am aware of caching issues. So that was a first port of call, clear all caches. Don’t know what they are using Varnish or Nginx, either way they don’t know what they are doing.

Well that’s a turn up, never expected that.

Hosting platform was giving 524 errors on Saturday and Sunday, also had FTP issues and memory limit problems. When the site was accessible late Sunday the front page was corrupted but only the static English home page, replacing it had no effect. Web host denied responsibility. Now as if by magic its sorted. Time to change hosts.

Should have know realy, my client has been with the same theme since 2008 I think, solid theme never any problems with broken code.

So problem sorted, host problem.

If you scroll down the page and hit one of the language links, after the bad formatting, the page displays fine. I have tried to set a new static front page but nothing changes. If i set the front page to posts the the front page changes and displays correctly.

I’m a bit stumped only been using WordPress, for a few months. This site was built by a friends colleague, who has now asked me to look after it.
