In reply to: [Customizr] Featured Pages Display Full Page Contentkaniamea, Yes, I see that, but I was hoping to be able to change it to display all of the content. rdellconsulting, thank you for that answer. However, I need more than just more characters, I need the full page content, html characters and all. I suppose I’m out of luck.
Maybe it would be easier to use posts?

In reply to: [Customizr] Featured Pages Display Full Page ContentHi, thank you for your answer! Unfortunately, that doesn’t change the front page featured content to show the full post.

In reply to: [WP FullCalendar] FullCalendar not rendering events in IE9 and belowThis is solved. The problem was that I had the ip url in the WordPress url, and the domain url in the Site url. They both had to be the same to avoid IE thinking there was a security issue.

In reply to: [WP FullCalendar] Events not showing in CalendarWhat browser are you testing it in?
Alright guys, marking this one resolved. The error was that I had the WordPress address in the settings set to the ip address url and the Site address settings as the domain url. That caused ie to think it was a security problem because the scripts were being called from a different url than the page. Live and learn. Thanks for all the help!
I am seeing a SEC7118 XMLHttpRequest notice on IE10, but not below on the live server, but not the development one.
I deactivated all plugins except events manager and Fullcalendar today it still doesn’t work. I am using WordPress 3.5.1. I’d love to upgrade, but I don’t want to add another layer to the mix until this is resolved. I’ll probably have to make some upgrades to the template to bring it to 3.6, and I’d have to test all that before just upgrading on the live site.
Also, I should mention, the Events manager calendar works fine, so the events are there, and being called, It’s only when using the WP FullCalendar plugin with Events Manager that it stops working for IE.
It doesn’t even try to load, it just shows the blank calendar, so for some reason, the event isn’t getting triggered. But again, It works on my development site and worked on an empty WordPress install, so there doesn’t appear to be any reason why it shouldn’t work here.
I may have to cut my losses and style the Events Manager calendar and abandon use of the WP Fullcalendar plugin. I would very much hate to do that since I like them so much.
I do not appear to have any that others that are loading jquery. Events Manager of course loads the jquery ui library, and then I have contact form 7 which loads a jquery ui theme smoothness.
Actually, both contact form 7 and WP fullcalendar load the jquery theme smoothness. Do you think this could have something to do with it?
But it works where I am forcing 1.10.2 on the development server.
It does not work where I am using the WordPress default of 1.8.2. But it didn’t work on the live server when I was forcing 1.10.2 either. I I removed it to see if that was the problem, but it did not change anything.

In reply to: [WP FullCalendar] FullCalendar not rendering events in IE9 and belowYou replied to me on the events manager page as well, so I guess we should continue there.
Thanks!Yes, the same theme and plugins. I moved the whole thing over to the new server. I had tested before I moved in IE, so I didn’t think about it until the client said the calendar wasn’t showing up.
I moved the whole thing from the develoment server to the new server
The only things different are:
That I am still forcing JQuery 1.10.2 on the development server. I removed it from the live server to see if that was the problem. It is now using the wordpress default of 1.8.2.
I updated to the events-manager 5.5.1.1 on the live server, to see if that would fix it.
Something I am missing for sure.
So I put up a test installation of the wordpress version I am using on bluehost, and tested the calendar with a base theme. All worked as expected.
So I agree that the issue is with me somewhere, but I can’t find it.
Funny thing is, an identical copy is running on my development server on hostgator, and it works fine, which is why I didn’t catch it before moving.
Can you think of anything else I should check? Any idea what css might be a trigger for this?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
I’ll give it a try and let you know, thanks!
