My hosting company has an easy back up procedure. In which case I am thinking maybe I should back it up before making any further code changes.

I really like the them, and I really don’t care to make any really big changes, but I would expect at least some minor support for any theme…

I have a bit more knowledge on it all now, Thank you… I will consider my options and I “think” ?? I am at a position where I should be able to figure something out more…

It just struck me weird about the original font coding… Curious why that was…

Under the appearance section the edit css tab, takes me to the customization area. I am not sure how else to access them. Maybe my control panel file area?

I’ll look into th3 option of contacting the plugin if I decide to go that route…

Ok, I had a bit of trouble even accessing the original coding for my theme. On a side note, if I figure out how to create the child theme. I can use the same coding you suggest above? I don’t really want to make changes directly to the original theme. I understand that can crash the site or something if a mistake is made? As well as the updates and such changing it back?

About what you seem originally? Did that seem weird all the extra fonts? Do you think they had put that in there and do you have any idea why they would have?

I had some suggest a child theme with my old website, I no longer have. It was really confusing. I’ve had more recently with suggestions and research peoples articles suggesting the plugin. Specifically google fonts…

I clicked on the link before for the theme support and it took me to a page or something to go pro. I couldn’t figure out how to post without going pro…

Plugin deactivted… “Indie Flower” is the font I was trying to use as the example somewhat close atleast to what I was looking for…

I really just wanted to make the title to be a bit italic or slight cursive like… Just a bit more flowing… The tabs are fine…

I have added fonts under the already installed custom css. I also erased the coding that I put in that section. The only plugin I have is “Google Fonts”, in which it doesn’t seem to have anything that does anything for the title and tagline area. I can delete it and reinstall it later if needed. I used it to change my header for my pages and my main text.
I have no idea how to do a child them. I’ve read some stuff on it but t does my head in. Under the “appearance” and customization section there is pre-installed area for the custom css that reads “additional css”.
I’m not sure what font I want to use, I need to see how it looks and try a few out… ??

It didn’t work at all…

Maybe if I post that in the custom css and erase both helveticas, and change them to “one” of what I want it to be?

All I know is that it said Helvetica in one section when I was looking…

I’ve been trying to change the font and nothing has been working. Pasting any examples of coding others have used in the custom css. As well trying to under the fonts tab under customization in the appearance section.

I went to the forum for my theme… “Services” and it takes you to a separate website, and on the site I tried posting. It was a few weeks ago, so I don’t remember fully, but it didn’t let me post and it seemed as if I needed to go pro with the theme.

I don’t want to put my site to public yet, but if it helps that much. I can with a simple click. Thank you for posting. Let me know if you see my reply, and I can go ahead and make it public. I just don’t have much information on it yet. The design is good though, except a few font style changes… ??
