In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] wpdiscuz colorpicker js 522Interesting, it’s loading fast again. I guess whatever was slowing it down fixed itself.. weird.

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] wpdiscuz colorpicker js 522I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled wpDiiscuz. No change.
I don’t have any security plugins installed.
I get this file error ‘522’ trying to load for up to 15 seconds.
/wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/assets/third-party/colorpicker/js/index.js?ver=1.0.0
Anything else I can do?
Well grr!
I disabled ALL plugins, no luck. Every 15 minutes on the dot the entire cache is deleted. No matter what I have changed in wfcache.php, nothing helps. I even modified ‘wp_schedule_single_event(time() – 15,’ to 9999 and no dice.. cache continues to be cleared every 15 minutes.
I don’t care if I have to manually clear cache every 6 months when I add new content.. I just want to PLEASE DISABLE CLEARING CACHE EVERY 15 MINUTES.. how can I do that. I’ll happily purchase your premiere we I can figure this out.
Thanks Brian, I’ll report back what worked. ??
Thanks Brian, I’m not sure what the cause is but I’ll figure it out eventually through lots of trial and error I suppose.
I have a feeling hosting the DB on a 3rd party server might be causing the issue as well but I’ll have to test for that.
Or more importanlty.. how do I prevent cache from being cleared automatically?
From what I’ve seen cache does not last longer then a few minutes… I guess maybe I have a plugin that’s causing this to happen?
I’m going to guess it has something to do with either of these plugins: iThemes Security, WordPress Simple Firewall, Yoast SEO or WordPress.com Stats. I’m sure these plugins update with information which may cause a cache dump..
In any case.. how do I disable this from happening other then removing other plugins? Maybe there is a line of code I can add that will prevent plugins from acting on the cache?
Thank you,
** Wow, I’m checking cached pages via FTP. I refreshed the folder and see about a dozen pages cached. After checking what was cached I go to login to the blog and check the status you mentioned: It says “The cache is currently empty. It may be disabled or it may have been recently cleared.”
I go back to FTP and fresh the folder and it’s Empty..
It seems me logging in caused the cache to clear.. but why is that?
I did have two comments earlier in the day and that did seem to clear cache now that I think about it but overall that’s a lot of cache clearing..
I suspect me logging in shouldn’t cause the cache to clear?

In reply to: [Custom Content by Country (by Shield Security)] Random No Loading PageNo one else is having this issue? It’s still happening, it seems to happen during the weekends for some reason, every weekend for the past few weeks, very weird.
Could a backup plugin mess it up? I also have a tracking script on the page.. any other solutions?

In reply to: [Custom Content by Country (by Shield Security)] Random No Loading PageBy the way, I tested in two browsers. Once I saw the problem, I logged in and went to the page again with the issue, it loaded fine. However in the other browser, the browser I wasn’t logged in the page still wouldn’t load. It wasn’t until I went to the page in ‘wp-admin’ and physically updated it, did the page load in the second browser in which I wasn’t logged in.. if that makes sense.
I’m not sure if that helps or not but thought I would add it.

In reply to: [Custom Content by Country (by Shield Security)] Random No Loading PageSo, it started happening on the 2nd website now.
It’s having the exact same problem. I go to the page where I have the shortcodes, by the way other pages on the site are fine, I go to the page and it proceeds to reload every second.. the page just reloads over and over again.
I disabled the plugin but that didn’t help. And then again I go to the page with the problem in wp-admin, I ‘update’ the page and then it loads fine again.
So two websites now with the same problem. ??
The first website it seems to happen randomly once a week and this other website it took a little longer, maybe a month. The first website has more traffic then the second.
This is the code I’m using minus the URLs and Images:
<p style=”text-align: center;”>[CBC show=”y” country=”us,uk,au,hk,mx,it,cn,sg,ca,gr,il” message=”<img src=’#’ border=’0’/>“]<img src=”#” border=”0″/>[/CBC]</p>
It seems to be working fine.. the problem is the random page loading issues. Any ideas?

In reply to: [Custom Content by Country (by Shield Security)] Random No Loading PageHi, it started happening after installing the plugin. It was the only plugin I installed and started using recently.
When it happens again I’ll disable the plugin and see if that enables the page to load again.
The only thing I did after installing the plugin was to disable the cache.. though I don’t see how that would cause issues.
I really appreciate your reply back. I use the plugin on a different website without any issues.. it’s using the same theme, same version of WordPress and it’s even on the same server. It has no problems.
I’ll update when it happens again.
Cheers,

Godaddy recently upgraded to a new version of php which I think is causing the problem.. but I’m not sure yet..
