In reply to: Google PageRank display. Thanks drmike for trying to help. I already sorted it out. It was that the webhost changed servers, but the old one was still active. I kept uploading the modified file to the old one before I noticed the server change. So I got the ip of the new server and everything’s fine now. ??
Thanks again!

In reply to: No template other than the default one is working!?You got that right man ! Thanks!
That indeed was the problem. It’s because I’m running a ‘test’ copy of my website on my own computers so I can experiment with modifying stuff on it, and not screw up my site. ?? And I must’ve miswritten the address.
Thanks again and take care!

Anyway, I’m using the default them, and finally found out which file I need to change. Now it’s working just fine.
Thank you for taking the time to read my posts.

In reply to: Which file do I need to edit ?The blog is set up on a LAN, so you can’t access it from the outside. But isn’t wordpress the same for everyone ? I mean, you can look through your installation. I really hope you could help me out.
By the way, doesn’t wordpress have a real support center ? I mean, it’s not always that the community would like to help or even know how to help. Can’t those that have written the code for wordpress help out ? I know it will be easy for them because they wrote the system, and know how it operates.
PS. The index.php file contains 5 lines of code, one of them is a require() function calling wp-blog-header.php. I checked that file too, but it’s not there either.

In reply to: Adsense Deluxe PluginForum: Plugins
In reply to: AdSense Deluxe and 2.1.2I don’t put it in any file right now.
I use AdSenseDeluxe or AdSense-Deluxe I don’t remember exactly its name.
The default code to putting your ad assigned by the plug in is <!–adsense–>. You can change it to whatever you like <!–googleadsenseads–>, etc. But I feel that the first one is enough. And so when you put this piece of code in your visual editor it is supposed to trigger the plugin and show ads instead of the line stating “<!–adsense–>”. While this worked flawlessly before, it no longer does.
PS the version of the plugin I use is 0.8 ( I think from 2005) and which is the latest. Also it is in the 2.0.x compatibility list, listed as compatible. So what could be the problem ?
Or how do I accomplish the task described in my previous post ?
