In reply to: Multisite global optionPods plugin or Advanced Custom Fields plugin might help you do that. You can ask them on their forums/sales chats.

In reply to: https vs http-fixing inconsistencies in style/pluginsLooks like the plugin Pretty File Lister is creating an https error on your site. Try temporarily deactivating it, and see it that fixes the problem.
If so, consider removing or replacing the plugin with something else, as it hasn’t been updated in 3 years. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pretty-file-lister/

In reply to: Not able to access WordPress DashboardYou probably have a customer login instead of admin login. Try going into phpmyadmin through cPanel and seeing what level your login user is.
Here is some info that may help: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-an-admin-user-to-the-wordpress-database-via-mysql/

In reply to: Can’t install any pluginsSounds like you might be on a multi-site, in which you have to be super-admin, and go into a slightly different area in order to get the Add plugin button.
Here is a good place to see screenshots of where to add plugins, if you have a multisite:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/why-do-you-not-see-all-plugins-on-wordpress-multisite-installs/If you don’t want to spend the necessary time figuring it out, I suggest that you hire a web developer to troubleshoot it for you.

In reply to: Path doesn’t exist but, image is showingIf you FTP images into your uploads folder, then the image will not be in the Media Library on the dashboard. If you upload via your dashboard’s Media Library, can you see it then?

In reply to: Help fixing site indexingHmm, I’m not getting that, so yeah, you would have to find a resource such as Google help page or support forums for that. Or, ask plugin support if you have a related plugin, it looks like Yoast SEO is on the site.

In reply to: Help fixing site indexingMy apologies, I did not understand what you said about the sub pages. I do see the links “Networking · Cloud · About · Other” under the first search results.
“Networking” goes this page: https://www.lab2prod.com.au/nsx-t
“Cloud” goes to this page: https://www.lab2prod.com.au/vmware-cloud-foundation-vcfBoth pages are showing up in your sitemap: https://www.lab2prod.com.au/page-sitemap.xml
So that is the problem, your site is still indexing those pages, so Google is still finding them.
I use Yoast SEO plugin to fix sitemap issues. But I think Joy is right that this is not a WordPress question, however, I understand that you don’t know how WordPress works. What is happening is normal WP function.

In reply to: Help fixing site indexingHave you also checked your sitemap for search engines? I think your index for search engines is found here:
https://www.lab2prod.com.au/sitemap_index.xml
If you click the page site map under that, you will see all pages that Google will find next time it indexes your website. Is your cloud and networking pages showing up there?
The Google search results page you referenced, only has Cloud from issuu.com, that is not coming from your website. Did you put that info on Issuu?
First, you have a great idea with testing the basic email response for “Reset password”
Second, do you have any plugins that are affecting WordPress emails?
Third, what theme and plugins are you using? Could your theme be affecting it?
Fourth, you can install a plugin to help with email, such as SMTP plugin.

In reply to: Prevent overwrite of comments when pushing staging to live. Can you choose which database files to overwrite when pushing to live? If so, my suggestion is to ignore comments tables, which I believe are wp_comments and wp_commentsmeta.

In reply to: Installing, updating and uninstalling problemYou should be using a staging server or testing environment to make updates of this scale, rather than testing on your live (production) site. Set up a test area, and then take the backup from host to restore your live site while you work on speed and WooCommerce issues in a safer place.
I finally saw the obscure “See All Settings” link in the large welcome box on this page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=postman
It’s right under the big blue button “Start the wizard”
