thanks for your help. We bought the premium version and I will have a look at the video you sent a link for.

I imagine I don’t have to rebuild all product pages that I have so far in order to get the SEO benefit and pretty URLs?

Also, can the ‘sort by’ dropdown options be changed? We don’t have a price attached to a product, for example.

I chose the details view and got rid of the images via css because in the list view the details text info is displayed right below the name or there is a ‘read more’ link. Either one. I want neither. Only the details description on a new page as is now when somebody clicks the name.

also a suggestion. It would be nice to, in the future, offer a choice of displaying the products in a list, but not showing the details underneath. It seems that right now you can unclick ‘read more’, but then all the info shows up. In my case I wanted a simple list, no photos, and the name clickable which then leads to the separate page with info. I got around it making the ‘read more’ button the same colour as the background. But now my ‘back to catalogue’ button is not legible so I need to find a fix for that. Is there a way of getting rid of the ‘read more’ button altogether AND not having the details show underneath in the list mode?

I am also thinking of upgrading to the premium version. Would the URLs then be pretty URLs meaning more descriptive of the product. The slug name would be the URL name? Also, with the premium version I understand that the SEO description would actually be included on each page?

On more thing. Can the name ‘product’ on the search functionality be changed to ‘seeds’?

no, I haven’t upgraded yet even though I saw that there is a new update out.

A screenshot won’t be any useful. When I click on products and then add a product manually it doesn’t show up in the list, meaning when i after the adding click on category and then try and add the product by clicking it it’s not even in the list.

I might get rid of the search box on the right as I don’t need two. I set the images to 0 so the thumbnails etc wouldn’t show up. I have it set to Details, but maybe List would be better. I tried that first, but didn’t like how it looked. However, at this point there are no images to be included so do you think that would be the best option?

Hi, yes, thanks, I figured a few things out.
Is it possible to make the database searchable by name and kind and to also sort the list (say by the top 50 seeds)? Also, when I click on the link (name of tomato) I would like to link to another page with more info. It seems that I can only put in details info and it shows up with the name on the catalogue page, but I don’t want all the info there, only on a different page.

I deactivated Woocommerce, but no sidebar shows up. It also appears that the plugin is only set up for a right sidebar? Would it work with a left sidebar? Also, I tried to put in the shortcode [starting_layout=’Detail’] [excluded_layouts=’Thumbnail, List’] to get rid of the blue choices on the page, but when you go to the page you’ll see that they didn’t do anything and show up as text. Thanks for your help!

Hi, thanks so much for being so prompt. I added the products to both, I think because it says 2 products in category. However, I have no sidebar show up, just the one I set up before. I have also installed Woocommerce and tried to do a catalogue through them, but found it didn’t work the way I wanted to. Do you think that might interfere with your plugin?
