In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] With 1.8 Update, Bulk Uploads Don't WorkGlad to be of service. ^_^ The account on the test box will remain active for now.
@aptharsia — that option does allow me to bulk upload, but then if I need to search the image database based on the ALT box, I can’t do it without re-enabling that box. ^_^;

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] With 1.8 Update, Bulk Uploads Don't WorkOne more rhetorical question – was this working with MLA v1.71 or earlier?
I was working in the earlier version. I’m not sure how to revert it though. ^_^;;;
Trying the single load method, interestingly enough, the first image uploads, but then the second single image attempt chokes down. I have to update the post to break it free.
I’ve created an account for you on my sandbox site, which has the same problems mentioned. I sent it via the Contact Us form.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] With 1.8 Update, Bulk Uploads Don't Work1) The Media/Add New submenu “Upload New Media” — no problems (a batch of ten uploaded with no problem).
2) Once it made it to three images before choking down on number 4. After that, it always choked down on image #2. (As an aside, I didn’t know images could be dragged-and dropped here.)
3) Whether drag-and-dropping or uploading via file selection, it chokes out on image #2.
Now for the plugin settings.
1) Neither box was checked, so there was nothing to uncheck.
2) This does fix the image uploading issue, but it makes the plugin void because now I can no longer do searches on the Alt field in images if I need to. ^_^;;;
Thanks for your patience and all your help.
You’re welcome and thank you for helping work through this.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] With 1.8 Update, Bulk Uploads Don't WorkJust got up. I have to get into work, but when I get home, I’ll get you those details. In the meantime (a quick rundown), I did try uploading from the post by (1) selecting files, which is how I usually do it, and (2) drag-and-drop selected files from Windows Explorer. In both cases, the images choked on the 2nd one.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Insert Media: No Search BoxAnother thing to consider is the width of your MMMW display. If you make the window too narrow, the search box moves down underneath the attachments thumbnails area and becomes invisible. Make sure you have a wide enough window to make room for all the controls.
That was the issue. My main, 27″ monitor is set to 2560 x 1440, so I used have of the screen for my browser and the other half can be used for a second browser window or whatever else I might need for when I’m working on things. I had to expand my browser screen about 2″ before the search box appeared.
So, the plugin is of use to me for sure. For now, I can maximize the browser if I need to do a proper image search.
If you could make it in a future release so that the search box doesn’t disappear when the window is in a narrower setting, that would be awesome. ^_^
You are welcome. Credit where credit is due is what I say, and I really appreciate what you’ve done here. Thanks a lot! ^_^

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Site Has Erratic Display w/ Cache ActivatedOK, I have FOUND the problem, and it isn’t W3-Total-Cache. At home, I only use Firefox to browse. At work, I have to use IE and once in a while, Chrome. So if I’m one one of those other browsers and want to check for new comments or something on the blog, I see the display, which did have Adsense working properly.
This morning when I got to work, I checked and indeed, everything is working fine in Chrome and IE. That told me that I had a local PC problem, which after further research, turned out to be Avast! I love Avast! for my firewall, anti-virus, etc., but it appears that they block ads automatically in Chrome and IE. While that is annoying, at least I know what is happening and why, which is a relief. I was really afraid my blogs were jacked up.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Site Has Erratic Display w/ Cache ActivatedAbout the time I get it working and migrated to my live site (https://anime.astronerdboy.com), on a whim, I decided to check the blog via IE 11, Opera 19.0, and Chrome 33 (I normally use Firefox, for which I’m on version 27). For Firefox and Opera, everything looks fine. For Chrome, Google Adsense ads do not appear, nor do my Twitter “Follow Me” nor my Facebook “Like” elements appear or work. They were working prior to having W3-Total-Cache installed.
I tried disabling everything, but that did not resolve the problem. This is VERY frustrating.
