Interesting question, but unfortunately, the plugin does not allow that. It only allows to export URLs of the website like images, posts, pages, products etc but it doesn’t scrape any external URL used anywhere inside the website, including the product description.

At the moment, you would have to explore other alternatives or hire someone to do as per your requirement.

@abhg613 Probably you are not selecting the “Categories” in export field option, which is required if categories needs to be exported. I have tested with latest version of Woo-Commerce and it works just fine.

However, if you have selected “Categories” in export field and it is still not exporting categories then please share the screenshot of the chosen option as well generated output. I would be more than happy to assist.

@gshimizu can you please share some screenshot and more details about your requirement? Are you referring to regular wordpress post categories or some custom post type? Are you receiving any error?

oh, I see, that sounds interesting. However that feature might not be well suited for this plugin but I would be happy to introduce a new plugin with that and similar other features. I will explore some use cases and if you have do any other suggestion then let me know, I would be happy to consider that.

Sorry to hear that you are having problem. Currently, the plugin doesn’t support execution through WP-CLI, but it’s something that might be added in future updates.

In the meantime, you can try a workaround by increasing the memory limit to 2048 MB in either your php.ini or wp-config.php file. After the task is complete, you can revert it back to the original setting. Another option is to temporarily deactivate other plugins, export your media URLs, and then reactivate them once you’re done.
