I have installed earlier today also WP 6.4.1 and Polylang is at v.3.5.2 and the same occurs everytime someone visits the Polylang. When the plugin is disabled there is no log and the moment it is activated the log gets populated with some 300 literally entries like the one aforementioned in a second or so!

Apart from the manual plugin process of disabling > checking > re-enabling, I have no log record associating Polylang with this issue.

The other plugins running on these 2 sub-sites who have different themes are Brizy & Elementor in each one and WPMUDEV’s SEO & Caching plugins (present in both). I have checked running the 2 sites with WPMUDEV’s plugins switched off but the issue is still present. There is the WPMUDEV’s firewall protecting the whole multisite which I have not checked (for security reasons) switching it off in case its latest update conflicts Polylang.

I realise I am not giving you much to reproduce and that it is weird that I am only mentioning it (which may connote a different origin).

I actually just found out the plugin responsible for this which is the “Network Subsite User Registration” after its latest update indeed 2-3 days ago.

I have already notified the developer about this weird role-switching behaviour.

I am facing an almost identical issue: After a period of 2 years without an issue for 2 days now the Admin user of the woocommerce subsite cannot login to its dashboard and is immediately converted to ‘consumer’.

Please advise.
