    So what I’m doing is fine (I think:).

    That is:

    1) I am finishing the redesign of my site.

    2) When I’m done I reupload it (through my staging service).

    And this – in turn – will “imply” that…

    3) ALL those assets (Pages/Posts) will NO longer have changes, heh.

    Therefore, I will only have to “worry” about the new articles and/or pages that I load, right?

    I think the “problem” with links is when I read directly from my mail.

    I know this because, when I go to WordPress, the link looks perfect.

    But, in my gmail, no.

    With that being said, let me tell you that after I sent in my query…

    I realized what you mention!

    Why? Okay. Basically because…

    It could NOT be that such an amount of code (like Fontawesome’s) would only serve to create the magnifying glass of my search engine, heh!

    Ergo. I realized that, strictly speaking, the files that Pagespeed mentions as “bloated” are actually the ENTIRE file, heh.

    So, now I know that my “sad” reality is, the one you’re mentioning, in that… 95% of THAT file is NOT being used!

    Anyway.

    Anyway, thank you for your intervention.

    Hello. As for the…”late response”… don’t worry (I see you have a lot of queries and, as we say around here…”better late than never, heh).

    Regarding…”Enable Fontawesome 4 support from the Elementor “Settings>Advanced>” page”… It’s one of many things I tried while waiting for answers and… It worked! (In fact, this – as you show on your screenshot – is how it is now).

    A little clarification on this. I had turned that off (the Fontawesome thing) because, as you can see in the link below…

    It generates ALL that content that is NOT used. Which is why, according to Pagespeed, from that file which is 35.2 Kib… 32.8 Kib could be saved! I mean… 93%!

    But I’m telling you, in case they can do something for your next update.

    One way or another, that’s all for now.

    Anyway, as I told you, on this particular page, there is NO Table of Contents.

    I was just doing a test for when I “move” to my “new” site where (there yes) I will have some pages (pillar) with their corresponding TOC.

    But there yes, not only the content structure (h1, h2, h3) will be correct but, in addition, I will use ANOTHER template.

    And that is the reason why, currently this page has this structure.

    And this is because, this template does NOT allow me to locate the h1 in another way, since, previously, the ONLY h1 I had was the “page title” (The one that says TO YOUR Work).

    And that of course, it did not allow me to put h1 in the title of each Page or Article.
    That is why I had to “touch” the code and, the only thing that occurred to me (to maintain aesthetics) is to leave as h2 (the title and subtitle of the page) and, change the h2 (original of the template) by the h1 that you currently have.

    And as obviously in this case, there is no OCD, it is a little “ugly”, heh!

    I thank you.

    Now I understand why, it was the ONLY case. And this is because, it is the only page that has this structure.

    The truth is that you surprised me well, it is the 1st. Once. the developer of a plugin, he attends me so fast.

    Having said that…
    You were right.
    When the page or post does not have the trailing slash, what I described happens to you.
    On the other hand, when it has it, the correct url is generated as you say (and I need it).

    The funny thing is that the url you chose as an example is the only one that has the bar at the end because, like everyone else, I have sinned from excess information (the famous “infodemic”).

    I mean, at the beginning when I started with my site, I read that …
    … “To improve the SPEED of your site, you should NOT add the bar at the end” … (Or something like that :).

    And so it was that, I installed the Custom Permalinks plugin and I was – precisely – customizing each Page or Post that I created WITHOUT the slash at the end.
    But then, I also read around that …
    … “To improve the SEO of your site you must add the slash at the end” … (Or something like that :).

    That is why THAT entry (which was the last one) is the ONLY one with the slash at the end.

    Anyway.
    Note: As we say here, in my Country (Argentina) … “each teacher with his little book” …

    What are you going to do.
    When you don’t know (and I don’t understand ANYTHING about programming), sometimes you do what you are told and end up making these kinds of mistakes.

    Why?
    Good because, now I am in the dilemma of touching my hatcces (as you recommend) but, until now, all the codes that I have seen, would modify ALL the urls.

    And this would include files like .jpg or .html which, perhaps, should not end in /
    In fact, the best recommendation I’ve read so far about it is that …
    … “Ideally, CATEGORIES end in slash (mydomain / category /) but, not, entries (mydomain / category / entry)” … (Or something like that)

    But I don’t know how to “treat” the PAGES that they are, the ones I’m working on at the moment. I mean … would they have to end in slash or not?

    What do I know?
    Anyway and like anyway I’m planning the TOTAL redesign of my site, instead of adding code to my hatcces (and modifying all my urls), what I’m going to do (now that I know where the problem is) is :
    1) Create a NEW Page or Entry for each of those that do not have the bar at the end (And I want them to have it)

    2) Copy the Content of the “old” into the “new”

    3) Make a 301 Redirection from the “old” to the “new” and delete the 1st.

    And although it is more work than “touching” my hatccess file, I will at least make sure that the only files that will have a trailing slash are ONLY the ones I want.

    I was still thinking of doing that work on my “new” site, because, in addition, I want to start working with a cluster system and, for that, I had to change the structure of my url anyway.

    So, as we also say here (and yes, we have many sayings, heh!) … “There is no evil that for good does not come” …

    Finally (and excuse the “can”):
    The only drawback that I see that I am facing with your plugin is the following:
    a) I have it configured to load ONLY in the Entries but,

    b) In my “new” site and, to work my clusters, I have to create what they call a “pillar page” (Similar to a Category but with another purpose).

    c) And it is ONLY in the latter (the “pillar” pages) that I want to insert the Table of Contents. And obviously – as you know – since your plugin only supports the options of: ALL Pages or ALL Posts, the only way I can see to insert your Index is, through a short code.

    So, I did the following test with my “old” page and the result was the following;

    As you can see, with the shortcode I have a “beautiful” Table of Contents but, the only drawback that I see (and I swear I tried everything before contacting you) is that, for some reason, when the page loads, when doing scroll and get to the Table, the 1st.

    Link is “painted” black (as you can see in the screenshot).

    Then that “paint” is gone (especially when I start to “use” the table) but, frankly, the 1st. impression it leaves, it is quite unpleasant to look at.

    And you well know the power of the “1st. Impression on the internet“.

    Like I told you, I already tried everything. This is…
    a) With and Without “Color of titles (scroll)”
    At this time it does NOT have ANY color

    b) With and Without “Header background color (scroll)”
    Idem a)

    c) With and Without “Header background color (active)”
    Idem a) and b)

    So frankly … I DON’T know what else to do! ??

    Hi, I am trying to explain that the problem is not caused by mod_security or the shared hosting environment.
    1) The issue is caused by the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin repeating and hitting the memory limits for PHP, causing an error.
    Exact error:

    According to the README plugin in / home / atutra19 / public_html / wp-content / plugins / so-widgets-bundle, it is tested only on the following platform:

    I made the inquiries of the case with my hosting and, this is what (very reluctantly) they answered me. I hope it is useful for your analysis and later resolution of the problem because, what I am, I am a “little” tired since, they have me as a “ball without a handle”, heh!

    I’m “fighting” with my hosting for this issue and here is their response;
    … “There is no problem with mod_security as I explained in my previous answers. I disabled mod_security for your domain and enabled the plugin … In this case, I cannot edit your page and plugin timeouts” …

    ALL of this is what I just checked. That is to say:
    1) mod_security is temporarily DISABLED, as you can see in the following screenshot;

    2) When I want to Edit THAT page in question, which, as you know, is the one that has several add-ons installed for your plugin, it remains ticked (I don’t know how to say it in English ?? and, after a while … paf! I get the following Error Message 524 (if I am connected to Cloudflare);

    3) I CANNOT leave your plugin disabled because, if I do so, my page is “unconfigured” (I can’t explain it in English ??

    This is because, if I continued editing, I was going to get Error 524 again and 99% of the 4GB of memory that I have according to my plan would be consumed, wasted in a single process!

    So if I managed to update and the change I had made didn’t look right, I wouldn’t be able to edit it again.

    So, I left everything as it was (the page and the mod_security that I reconnected to).

    First of all, thanks for responding.

    That said, I comment:
    – Regarding…

    In 1st. Instead, I told you that, a while ago, when I wanted to update to WordPress 5.6.1 (I think), it happened to me that I could not update it and then, I contacted my hosting.
    In the “tug of war” (the long exchange of emails that we had with my hosting), and even though we had already overcome it, they ended up with the following conclusion:
    … “We suspect you failed to update your application because mod_security … in case you cannot update your application again, please disable mod_security via: cpanel >> security >> mod_security” …

    However – luckily, heh! – I didn’t have to do it because, after their intervention, the problem was solved and, NEVER again, I had problems when I updated my WordPress (thank goodness :).

    For example, I already upgraded to 5.6.2 and 5.7 without ANY issues.

    On the other hand, I don’t understand how, THAT page is with the ONLY one that – until now – I have problems.

    I know this because I tried the first 2 (Home Page and Blog) and, I can edit them “in one go”.

    And frankly I did not continue testing with other pages / posts so we are commenting
    Is that…
    1) Every time I wanted to edit THAT page – About Me – I had these errors (524 – with Cloudflare – or 503 without).

    2) When deactivating your plugin, the problem was “solved” (it allowed me to continue editing) but, on the other hand, the page in question (About Me) was “deconfigured” because, precisely, said plugin had not been activated (and in the itself, several elements of it are installed).

    Ergo …
    3) Since I didn’t know how to fix it, I took my last backup (from 10/3) and “rolled back” ALL of my site to that date. And then EVERYTHING was solved.

    You will understand then that, I cannot be like this, all day, right?

    – With respect to…

    I don’t think it will be of much use because, as I told you, BEFORE I contacted you, I did it with them ?? Who, as I told you, already had this background.

    I honestly do not know how they did it at the time (helping me with the update to WordPress 5.6.1) but, what I do know is that, I NEVER had this problem again and that is why, the updates to 5.6.2 and 5.7 I could do them “on the touch”.

    And that, as I mentioned, luckily I NEVER had to “touch” any of the mod-security, heh!
