So it is working now as you expected. Does that mean I don’t have to help you with anything for this point?
Yes please. I attribute the problem I was having till now to the auto login feature triggered by the PW manager. If I don’t use it to launch the WP login page, there seems to be no issue.
If your backup plugin is storing your backups remotely in Google Drive then there is no need for you keep other backups in your server. So the answer to your question is, no. You don’t need to have two backup system running at the same time.
As the backup is being stored remotely on google drive by another plugin, I shall give the backup from AIOWPS a pass, as suggested by you.
As for now there seems to be no issue. Many thanks!
Hi,
Not using my password manager to launch login page. even though it is set not to auto login, it somehow does the same.
Am using LastPass PW manager. Whenever I would launch the login page from lastpass vault it automatically tried to login. The captcha not being entered on login page it gave an ERROR: Your answer was incorrect – please try again. Tried to disable autofill and auto login feature from lastpass vault but the auto login continued.
After resetting and reconfiguring the plugin, I have now started to login manually, working like a charm. What is the size of your database? Have you carried out a test to make sure you can receive emails from your site?
Uploads (82MB), themes (2MB), plugins (31MB), Others (7KB), DB (3MB)
I receive site lockout notifications.
I receive mails when Updraftplus performs a backup. The backups should be stored in the following path yourwebsite/wp-content/aiowps_backups/.
Could find the folder in Cpanel file manager but it does not seem to have backups.
Are these on the server?
As you said these are on the server. Does saving backups have any cons?
I am already using Updraftplus whose free version gives me backups on google drive.
The content of site hardly changes. So would you recommend using 2 backup options?Am not a very tech savvy person and am kind of new to wordpress.
Thanks for being so very patient and appreciate the pain you take to address every issue ??- This reply was modified 4 years, 1 month ago by Saurabh Khajuria.

Could you please help me with another query regarding DB backup options.
1. I am not receiving any mails regarding the backups made (have enabled automated scheduled backups and mentioned an email id).
2. Where are the backups stored? Are these on the server? How to access the existing backups?
Thanks again.1. Reset the plugin and set it up starting from scratch.
2. Not using my password manager to launch login page. even though it is set not to auto login, it somehow does the same.
Many thanks! No sir. I do not have a static IP address to whitelist.
I use last pass password manager and launch the word press login page from there.
First attempt is like an auto login – says wrong credentials entered even before I enter the captcha. 2nd attempt (which I make) and am locked out. Even though the max attempts are set to 4, it locks me out on the 2nd one (my first). Thanks again. Am continuing to use the plugin on the fresh installation.
@mbrsolution that was a life saver. I had to delete a previous installation of WP after the site got hacked. The new installation logged me out of WP admin as soon as i activated AIOWPS plugin – IP blocked msg displayed. Your reset solution made me log back in and reset/keep the plugin.
My only concern being the site got hacked even though i had installed the plugin. FYI I had activated only the basic features back then. Am not a very technical person so decided not to fiddle with the intermediate/advance options. Am still gonna hold on to the plugin, but if there is any link for
recommended settings, it would be of great help. Thanks!
