The Mansonry feature by the Daze Theme by Nordwood allows so-called SPECIAL WIDGETS:
“The widgets from this field will appear among the posts on blog page with masonry layout. Use the two additional fields to control their positions.”
The settings in the ‘latest news’ widget are like this:

No problem, if you think you can’t solve it. It would be nice to have the widget in the mansonry, but I’m fine without, too.

OK, I enabled the widget for the English version of the website: https://mathis-nitschke.com/en/
Now it behaves like in the screenshots above.

I made it so that the widget repeats after 10 posts in the masonry. After the repetition you see again a post doubled from before (MAYA), here is a screenshot:

I would prefer not to disable WPML as I fear that it scrambles the whole website. I’d rather wait to see if you can debug anything with the current state.

Sorry Anoop, I removed the news widget again as the effect bothered me. Then I forgot to follow up here on this.

the daze developers tested the widget and to them it works fine. So my guess is that the problem is related to the WPML plugin, which is also in use here. Are you aware of any issues in connection with WPML? So far the translations seemed to work fine. only the widget in the mansonry makes problems.
I use the widget in the side-bar on other pages and there it works fine.

It came back by itself, I didn’t do anything to it….

I used the css code by Stephen posted above and it generally works well, but I get white lines below the images, as seen here:

Any idea how to remove them?
