In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Undefined variableHello!
I am not sure what is causing this for you. I don’t get such errors on any of my test websites. Here are my recommendations:
1) Update your WordPress to the latest version 4.0.1
2) Update Google Universal Analytics plugin (version 2.4.2 is now available)3) If these does not work, look at your other plugins. They may be causing the issue.

In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Several Analytics codesHello Linn,
1) Add first code as usual via ‘Universal Analytics’ tab in your Google Universal Analytics plugin settings panel.
2) The second code can be only added via ‘Custom Tracker’ tab. There you will need to paste full Analytics code not just the property ID.— Audrius

Can you give me an example of what kind of links are not being tracked? I have checked this feature with the latest plugin version and it worked fine. Let me know.

In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Tags, Categories, Authors…Nick,
At the moment this plugin is not fully capable of creating custom dimensions. However, there is a new feature in the latest plugin version that tracks User ID which can partially used for this purpose.
I may add more to it later but at the moment all of this must be coded manually on the website.

In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Tracking Code Snippets are differentHello!
Yes, the code provided by Google was slightly different from the one I used in previous plugin versions but it did not cause any issues. The method was the same as suggested by Google. Anyway, I decided to modify it and make identical to the one that is offered by Google. There is a new plugin update (version 2.4) that fixes this.

In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Google analytics universals isn't detectingHello!
There is a new plugin version available (2.4). It should solve this issue you had.
Usually, data starts appearing right away but in some cases there are delays and it may take up to 24 hours until your first visitor data appears in the account.
You can use both, Classic and Universal, if there is a need. In any case, I think you should plan to keeping just Universal Analytics tracker.

In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Tags, Categories, Authors…Hello Nick,
All of these you do manually by creating custom reports in your Google Analytics account.
If you want to start using this plugin remove manually added code first.
