In reply to: [Spiffy Calendar] Change color of title/text (upcoming events)Thanks – maybe a different placement would be a better fit…

In reply to: [Spiffy Calendar] Change color of title/text (upcoming events)Thanks for this quick response. It works – partly:
- the title is still black, so how can I change that color as well?
- the text of the popup/flylover for a specific event is now also white on a yellow background… how to make that text black again?
- In addition – but maybe that should be a separate ticket? – I see that the popup seems to be cut off at the bottom of the picture… Is that correct? Can that be prevented?
Thanks again for additional help!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] How to restore header on home pageThanks – going back to a previous revision was helpful.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] How to restore header on home pageMost of the time, I get responses on my questions pretty soon – not so on this question… cannot imagine it is a hard one for experienced WP-ers? Maybe it is too obvious? If so, maybe someone could point me to the documentation on how to edit the header?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] How do I show the Mini view?Thanks Joe, for your help. I now have found the My Calendar page and changed the Format setting to Mini. On a test page I have added both the Kalendar widget (but not sure if that is the widget that comes with My Calendar…) and the short code that is on top of the My Calendar page.
This is my test page https://www.verhalenmaker.nl/testpagina-eventlijst/
* The widget has the problem that I cannot go forward to next months, only back in time;
* The short code gives a huge calendar that does not seem ‘mini’ at all to me. By the way, if I change the format to whatever (list, default, …) the calendar stays the same. Maybe because the shortcode stays the same?I referred to the documentation, but that could not help me further… Maybe you have some more clues?

In reply to: password protected page asks for username?I’ll check! Thanks for the suggestion.
If this is the case – how could that have happened? I gave them the URL to the site, just as mentioned in my request above…

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] set number of posts in grid viewthanks, @thelmachido , that’s what I was looking for! (Well, almost, it was in Settings >> Reading, rather than Writing – but I foud it ??

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] set number of posts in grid viewThat is correct, it is the query loop with blog posts on my home page. Does that matter?

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] set number of posts in grid viewThanks @zoonini for your help. However, I do have a question. When I turn off the inherit-setting and look at the settings in the block toolbar, it says (exactly as in your picture): 3 items per page. However, on my page, 10 items are shown. How do the 3 and the 10 relate?

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Grid (or list) view of selected pagesThanks for your suggestions, @zoonini! Yep, I decided to use colums which I hand-filled with a cover per page. Adequate for now – later, I will probably change the look of the page. But for now, learning how to use the block editor, it works fine.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Change look of Next/Previous linksThanks again. I think it looks quite OK now!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Change look of Next/Previous linksThanks, it works! I am grateful to have you lot here on this forum – I have no idea how I would have figured this out on my own…
To nitpick just a little more. As you can see on the page https://www.verhalenmaker.nl/2022/12/de-translationes-de-reizen-na-hun-dood/ there are two minor differences between the previous and the next link:
- there is a space after the ‘<‘ in the previous label, which I cannot seem to get in front of the ‘>’ in the next label;
- in the previous label, the ‘<‘ is part of the link, whereas in the next label, the ‘>’ is not clickable.
If these can be helped, that would be great. If not, it’s fine enough already ??

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Change look of Next/Previous linksThanks for your suggestion, @uxl , but your css code also does not seem to work. This is what it looks like in the editor: https://snipboard.io/Xuqpde.jpg
And this is what it looks like on my published site: https://snipboard.io/L6c8DP.jpg – note that I would want the “>” at the end of the title of the next post (in this case “Nieuwjaarswens 2023”)

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Change look of Next/Previous linksThanks for you suggestion @thelmachido . However, if I add that CSS-code, I see no difference to the previous/next layout? Esp. with the next, the “>” is still before the title of the next post.
