My current form uses a radio for the user to select number of repeated sections to fill out for up to 5 different students.

Looks like you have interesting data capture problem on your hands, and one for which I specifically designed the Smart-grid plugin to be extensible and flexible enough to solve such challenges.

There is a list of advanced video tutorials exposing key features of the plugin that allow you to build more complex custom forms. See this one on dynamic form constructs.

Hopefully the above should be useful to further streamline your form.

ah I see. Please navigate to your form table admin page with the listings of your forms and use the shortcode listed for your form in the table.

as @calvinroi pointed out, please use the shortcode provided by the Post My CF7 Form plugin. It builds additional js scripts and HTML into the form to manage your mappings.

Navigate to the form table admin page which lists your forms, you will see the new shortcode displayed in the table.

What is the shortcode you are using to display your form on the frontend?

The forms can no longer be edited in the admin because the message ‘There has been a critical error on this website’ is displayed instead of the form.

this is an javascript error on your page likely due to some conflict with another plugin or an issue with the plugin installation/file permissions. Inspect your js console and try to fix your error.

Which CSS file are you referring to?

regarding the admin page mapping editor not loading, looks like an issue with the multi-step plugin, did you reach out to them?

As for the ‘save’ button that is a styling issue, the Post My CF7 Form plugin doesn’t do any styling to your form, this is up to you and your theme’s CSS stylesheets.

Have you tried my other plugin Smart Grid Layout for CF7 which has multistep functionality built-in and is fully compatible with the Post My CF7 Form?
