I too did not start out with a child’s theme. I did make a lot of changes to various php pages in the editor section; however, I do believe I can figure out which ones I did change.
Since I have edited essentially my parent theme, should I rename that to a child’s theme and upload an unaltered parent’s theme? Or, should I keep my altered parent theme the way it is, upload a child’s theme and then swap the php pages that have been edited?
I am very, very new to this so defining in the most simplistic terms would be appreciated!
