In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect woocommerce to facebookHi @simonskyverge,
Tried again, worked correctly and everything appears to be running smoothly.
It did create one more system user, but that’s not a major issue.
Thank you and the team for your persistence with this!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect woocommerce to facebookHi @tamarazuk I don’t think this was resolved – last post no fix was found and we’re waiting on an update from @simonskyverge

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect woocommerce to facebookHey @simonskyverge,
Not sure why my reply and your response are missing. As previously posted, each time I try to reconnect the plugin it creates a new system user. You mentioned Facebook was working on a fix for that. I was able to go to business manager and add the ad account to the first system user, but still get the “oops” error message when trying to connect the account.
Just now, I went through all 8 system users and made sure they all had assets added and management permissions for all 4 options: pages, ad accounts, catalogs and apps.
No luck, trying to reconnect created another system user with no permissions.
Odd things I have noticed when trying to connect the app:
1) On the confirm settings page, it’s trying to create a new ad account. If I press Continue, it reloads with an error message that I’ve reach my ad account maximum. I have been selected the existing ad account and am then able to progress to the next page.
2) On that next page, it appears I have two business manager accounts, the second is the real one and the first is an empty zombie with the same business name. No idea if I accidentally created that in the distant past, or if the plugin has somehow created. It’s now scheduled for deletion in 24 hours. I have been selecting the second, real, business manager account.
3) On the page after that, it’s asking for permission to a) Manage my ads, b) Access my Facebook ads and related stats, c) Manage my business, d) Manage my product catalogs, and e) Manage business extension. I presume a) and b) are taken care of by the Manage Ad Account permission, c) by the Manage Page permission and d) by the Manage Catalog permission, and e) by the Manage App permission.- This reply was modified 4 years, 7 months ago by austenite.
