OK, I’m opening a ticket.

I added a new download and new files and tested with a new purchase. It’s not working. It just displays the raw text of the download title without any hyperlinks. Frustrating…

It’s a bit weird but as you said I checked my time and date in Setting>General and it was set properly on +3:30 UTC which is Tehran, Iran (and it was fine) but the UTC time was set on my real local time and the local time was set on +3:30 hours later than my real local time.
When I pick the UTC+0 from the list, Time and Date become OK (and it shouldnt be). Does this make sense? And do you think there is any connection with EDD?

Im still trying to fix the problem but nothings working.
The sad part of the story is that I cant even find anywhere to download the last version (2.5.2). And, since my previous downloaded version is 2.2.2 and probably has lots of bugs and errors, and when i click upgrade, its goes straight to 2.5.3.
I could not find the previous version almost anywhere, including the easydigitaldownloads.com.

So, my current plan is to delete the edd (2.5.3) from my host manually and replace it by 2.2.2 ??

Dear Sajjad, How should i downgrade to 2.5.2 without losing my data and history ? I’m wondering if there’s something wrong with our hosting servers that triggered by updating to 2.5.3.
I cant imagine any other logical explanation.

I just tested using a “text link” instead of a “button” since you asked.
Nothing’s changed. There are no links in purchase page or emails.

I make some pages or posts, and from page editor choose my download, put a button (add to the cart), and finally insert the short code.

I decided to downgrade to 2.5.2 since i have active files to sell, but i dont know how to do that without losing my data.

I experienced the same exact problem as Sajjad did, after i updated the plugin to 2.5.3. It was fine before that.
I have some texts in download list but there is no links!
And i guess one of my downloads appears as the “download title” not the file name!
I dont know if i can fix it by ur help or need to downgrade to last version?
FYI i have checked all the setting and it seems my hosting service includes whatever kinda functions i need. (since i was using the plugin properly before updating to 2.5.3)
