In reply to: Need to wrap text around imageWordPress tells me my style sheet is missing, which may be why I am unable to wrap text around a left indented image.
Here is the URL to my site:
I found style.css on the web root:
File manager > web root > wp-content > themes > cutline 1.2-3column split > style.css
Is it in the correct folder?

You’re saying style.css needs to be moved? To where, exactly?

In reply to: stylesheet is missing??Where does one ordinarily install WP, hypothetically speaking? On my last update, I clicked a button, then WP installed. I didn’t “have WP installed” as much as WP installed itself.

In reply to: Need to wrap text around imageI’m using Firefox, wp 2.7.
Is the style.css file in the file manager home directory? Pardon the question, but I need to know in order to fix the problem on my WP blog.

In reply to: stylesheet is missing??Where is /wp-content/themes ? I don’t see it in the home directory?
bc, I dread posting questions in these forums. I have a missing style sheet, and see from an earlier forum post that I have style.css in the wrong folder. The correct folder, I see, is
/wp-content/themes/techdesignscouk-004-v10/style.cssNow where I find this mysterious folder is my next question. I don’t see it in the home directory. It will take 8 or 9 more tries before I can get an understandable answer.
I had an email from a manager at WordPress a few months back, asking how I liked the app. I said fine, except the forums were about as welcoming as a DMV office. I pointed him to some abusive posts from the ever so helpful WP elves. He was none too happy. But of course that was the end of it. Nothing will change here.

In reply to: Need to wrap text around imageI don’t see anything labeled an “edit themes tab”. Here’s where I went:
wp/admin > appearance > editor > edit themes
Here’s what I see at the top of the editing window:
ie7.css
I pasted in the line of code you after the rest of the code. There is no button labeled “save”, so I clicked on “update file”.
I checked back on my site, but nothing has changed. I went into edit mode and clicked “update site”. Nothing. I deleted the old photo info and reinserted the image and cutline. Still nothing.
On the manage themes page, I see a header near the bottom of the page that says “Broken Themes”, and “stylesheet is missing”.
Now what?

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Database Upgrade Required over and overThis is what I found:
<?php
/**
* This holds the version number in a separate file so we can bump it without cluttering the SVN
*//**
* The WordPress version string
*
* @global string $wp_version
*/
$wp_version = ‘2.7’;/**
* Holds the WordPress DB revision, increments when changes are made to the WordPress DB schema.
*
* @global int $wp_db_version
*/
$wp_db_version = 9872;?>
I changed:
$wp_version = ‘2.7’; to $wp_version = ‘2.70’;
and relaunched Firefox. Same problem.
