I still like to place a web optimized favicon.ico file in the root because google and other bots look for it. Else I get a lot of 404 reports in the Google Search Console and easily miss the important file not found errors.

I tried the HTML Block but Ads are still rendered… It’s not working.

I have the same Cut& Paste problem on a MAC with WP Version 5.6.2, YOAST premium Version 11.8 and Gutenberg Plugin installed.

Could you reopen the ticket or have a look. Could it be the additional Gutenberg Plugin?

Ok so actually, the NoAds post works in the Post itself.
But the AdsWidget1 on the right sidebar of my blog is still showing up.

Is there a way to disable all Adsense Ads on a specific post? (I have a few posts Google complained about because they are some Tuning girls that show too much skin). So on that single pages I want to disable the ads.

WP: Version 4.9.5
Fresh QuickAdsense install: Version 2.3.2

After deactivating and deleting the Plugin (in the WP interface) and reinstalling from the WP Interface, it works fine thanks.

It is working with 4.9.x
It’s probably your theme or another plugin is making problems.
Test it on a clean WordPress installation.

Found a solution:

The redirect (entered under the SEO > Redirects > Redirects tab) works for URLs with and without a trailing slash at the end.

(That was not the case with the redirections plugin, you had to create 2 redirects)
