I have looked at that that “29 best…” article before, and it didn’t really address my need as all the examples just have simple shops without the 2-tier category filtering that I would need (as in Artists, and Mediums).
The description of the Product filter suggests that it does not provide separate detail pages (I would be using as ‘artist bio’ pages) for the filtering, so it doesn’t really address my need either.
EDIT: Oh and it looks like majority of users of that plugin are rating it poorly due to lack of reliability.

actually I just noticed it also occurs on past products as well, regardless of when they were created.
The problem seems to be related to images when clicked not loading their original image but the link that the code applies to the image, which in some cases is not correct.
Is there any way to control/fix this?

Thanks for you reply. yes in between me raising the issue and you seeing it, the problem was fixed. I believe it may have been related to a template from my theme that fell out of sync with woocommerce during a woocommerce update.
Another issue I’m having now is that any products I import into woocommerce today, cause load errors on the popup owl gallery. But any products that exist prior to today will load fine.
here’s examples of 3 products uploaded today, that all fail when trying to trigger the image popup:

Side-note: except for some reason even the popups that are working are only loading the ‘smaller thumb” image despite the fact that the image is actually 2000x20000px

can any one tell me how to fix the “image cannot be loaded” error on attempting popup images?

I’m having import issues also.
whether I enable or disable the tickbox to update existing products on import, in either case the udpated content does not import and I receive an error log say “id already exists, skipping product” for each product in the csv.
I’m trying to include different images and changes to descriptions but I cannot get them to update. Any ideas?
