In reply to: Admin Login BrokenHi,
Full transparency on this one: I’ve never heard of something like this happening. I relied on the trusty Google to find this:
I hope this helps.

In reply to: admin pages won't stop refreshingThanks for the info. As an additional question: Have you made any changes to your site? I know the original post said everything seems updated. Have you tried deactivating plugins to see if the behavior persistS?

In reply to: admin pages won't stop refreshingHi,
I know this might sound super basic. Have you tried accessing your site in a different browser? If not a different browser have you tried incognito or in private browsing modes? I would give that a try first just to rule out the browser itself.

In reply to: Photos Not up loadingHi,
It looks like your aunt’s site is using the WooCommerce plugin. In my research it looks like there have been issues with product images not displaying.
I’m not an expert on this but you may find the following link beneficial:
https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-fix-woocommerce-image-size-issues/
I can confirm that the links to the images are actually there. They’re simply not displaying.
With respect to your image upload issues I would recommend trying to access the site in a private browsing mode in Google Chrome. The keyboard shortcut for this is CTRL+SHIFT+N.
I hope this helps.

In reply to: File structure for a simple 4 page website.Hi,
I agree with @sterndata. Are you looking to have these pages non-editable once they’re live?

In reply to: dashboard showing blank pageHi,
I would take a look at this thread:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/i-can-log-in-but-dashboard-blank?replies=14
The one post from @christine Rondeau seemed to work for this other user.
Her words:
“I would look at the wp-config.php file and compare it to the wp-config-sample. php.
I would take your db, username, password and host info from the wp-config.php and paste it in the wp-config-sample.php and then generate a new wp-config.php using that.
Hopefully the new wp-config.php with your old db connection info will let you log back in.Make sure you keep a copy of your old wp-config.php though…”
Please be cautioned: This isn’t something that I’ve had to do. But I figured I would share what I did find on this topic for you.
Hope all is well.

In reply to: Add margin on shop page woocommerceI downloaded the plugin and found the following:
woocommerce.2.6.2\woocommerce\assets\css
That would be the path to the CSS stylesheet. You could make the edit there and then upload it to your site via FTP.
However, I would strongly recommend you proceed with caution and, if possible, test this on a local install of WordPress on your machine before making the change on a live site.

In reply to: Add margin on shop page woocommerceI downloaded the plugin to take a look around and like you, didn’t see anything. In doing some more research I stumbled across this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-customizer/
It might be worth investigating. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

In reply to: Why am I having to manually add my subscribersHi,
Just to verify. Users go to your site to register. When they register nothing happens and you’re forced to add them via a user plugin? Do we know with 100% certainty that the form is linked to the plugin that you’re referencing?
From what I understand it almost sounds like the two may not be integrated. How did you set the form up initially?

In reply to: Media 'Add New' & Drag & Drop Not WorkingHi,
Have you tried disabling plugins then re-enabling them? Also, I would recommend going into your browser’s private browsing mode to see if it’s something at the browser level that’s causing an issue like this. That’s usually the step I first take when I notice something weird is going on.
Here is a link for how to turn on this mode in different browsers:

In reply to: User Register page – Problem with buddypressHi,
Sounds like you might be using a premium theme. If that’s the case it’s possible that support is offered specifically for that theme. Based on the steps you’ve taken, it sounds like there’s something theme-specific that’s causing that to not display correctly. Is there a way you can contact the vendor of the theme for support?

In reply to: Help with linking website on social mediaHi there,
I just want to make sure I understand everything correctly. This white box, is this appearing on the social media site that you’re trying to post to? And, you’re looking for a way to obtain a photo of your site. Sorry if I come across as dense I just want to make sure I have an idea of what’s going on before giving you information that’s totally off.
Thanks!
