In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to Disable Marketing Hub?Thanks Collins and Saumya.
Most WP/WC decisions from the past 2 years have me puzzled and quite anxious, if I’m being honest.
Very uncool and unprofessional of them to selectively disable comments on their blog (https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/2020/03/31/coming-soon-woocommerce-marketing-hub/), simply because the community disagrees with their approach.
It’s now apparent beyond any doubt they are heading in a different direction.
Pity.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping costs include taxJust wanted to bump this up.
Is there an ETA on this? If not, is there perhaps a filter function we can use until the option has been incorporated to the core?

Vark, perfect, you have covered my questions in full.
We were indeed interested in offering the discount by variation name across multiple products, but that was more of a secondary priority (just from the perspective of making edits easier to administer).
Many many thanks for your prompt responses.
DonVark, I also just realized that your feedback above, probably mostly focuses on the “adjustment from a central location of pricing settings pertaining to one specific variation, storewide” part of my question.
Can you please clarify whether the rest of my question (ie, to set fixed prices, for only one of a given product’s variation, if the user belongs to a specific user role) is possible at the moment with your plugin, even if we would have to do it manually (ie, on a per product level)?
A similar thread in this forum (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/prepurchase-question-discount-on-one-variation-in-a-variable-product?replies=4) makes me believe that it is in fact possible, however I would like a clarification on whether:
a) this would need a third party plugin (ie, Members by Tadlock) to work or whether the default WP User Role structure would be sufficient, and, most importantly
b) whether your plugin can do this Fixed-Price sort of “discount” / price adjustment
Many thanks again for your prompt responses and helpful feedback
Hi Vark,
Is the 3-day demo still available somewhere?
Thanks,
DonHi Vark,
Thanks for your response!
Is there any documentation regarding this built-in filter? I am confident we’ll be able to handle it but would appreciate a pointer or two to know what exactly we’re dealing with.
We can certainly appreciate that help of a more advanced level would probably require the PRO license.
Many thanks once again,

In reply to: [ZM Ajax Login & Register] Register button is dead on iPhoneHi Zane,
Thanks for your reply.
Regarding the first issue (new user emails), it indeed a multisite installation but the setting you are referring to is indeed checked. Basically, it was working as expected (sending emails etc on new user registration), then I switched to your plugin for registrations and then realized that new people where signing up but I wasn’t notified.
Regarding the second issue (register button behaviour on iPhones 6), basically all fields are filled properly (i.e., with valid info) but, upon clicking the register button nothing happens. If we use the exact same details while on another device / desktop, the ajax runs (it shows the message that all is ok, hold on while we redirect), then the screen refreshes and proceeds as it should. Although not an expert in this topic, it feels as if it’s an ajax thing, since after the click on the register button, the message of successful validation (“..all good, please wait while we redirect you..” or something) doesn’t appear, and as far as I understand the ajax calls / processing is the main thing happening between the click and that message.
Regarding the third issue (Chrome Browser on iOS), as I said I understand that this is not directly related to your plugin but it is more of a bug on the particular browser, when running on the particular platform iOS. Users who are using the Chrome browser on iOS and try the login with fb option, get a message on their devices saying something like:
“Unsupported Browser: Chrome for iOS does not support this feature. Please use a different browser and try again”.I was just hoping that at least regarding this issue you would have more knowledge and hopefully some pointers as to how address this issue.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Add select box fieldhamergil,
I’m not sure if it covers your needs but you may find the plugin Predefined Regions by Astoundify of use (it’s free).
It essentially adds a new submenu within WP Job Manager wherein you can add multiple regions. They then become available for selection on all job related pages.
In addition, and if i remember correctly, a toggle option is added to the WP Job Manager settings page, which allows you to use a dropdown select box in your filters instead of a text input (which is the default type for the location filter).
Hope it is of use to you,
Don
